    Abstract: A system and method enable an electronic device to perform gaze tracking operations. The electronic device includes one or more cameras and at least one processor. The one or more cameras include a Dynamic Vision Sensor (DVS) camera. The one or more cameras are configured to capture features of an eye of a wearer of the electronic device The processor is configured to receive, from the one or more cameras, an image or pixel stream associated with the eye, determine an initial pose of the eye based on the image or pixel stream, receive DVS pixel data from the DVS camera, track one or more changes to the initial pose of the eye based on the DVS pixel data, and based on the one or more changes to the initial pose of the eye, determine a gaze of the wearer.

    Abstract: A target image can be analyzed determine a respective level of visual saliency for each of a plurality of information presented in the target image. At least a first sub-frame update for a display panel can be determined, the at least first sub-frame update providing at least a partial rendering of the target image on the display panel, the at least partial rendering of the target image providing the information presented in the target image that is determined to have a highest level of visual saliency from among the plurality of information. The at least first sub-frame update can be applied to the display panel.

    Abstract: A system for evaluating health-related quality of life (HRQOL) can include a sensor adapted to generate sensor data for a user, a memory adapted to store the sensor data, and a processor coupled to the sensor and the memory. The processor can be configured to initiate executable operations including determining a first biological marker for the user from the sensor data, wherein the first biological marker is indicative of a first dimension of HRQOL, performing speech analysis on user provided speech to determine a second biological marker indicative of a second dimension of HRQOL. The processor is further configured to initiate executable operations including comparing the first biological marker and the second biological marker with a baseline for the first biological marker and a baseline for the second biological marker, respectively, and outputting a result of the comparing.
