Abstract: A computer implemented system for automatically recording and generating predictive outputs relating to a medical procedure is described. The system is augmented with biometric sensory data from a biometric sensor coupled to a body of a healthcare practitioner. The biometric sensory data is processed to obtain one or more time-synchronized data objects providing a proxy to an estimated stress level associated with the healthcare practitioner, and the one or more time-synchronized data objects are utilized to identify abnormality-related durations of time encapsulated in the form of time-based metadata tags. The time-based metadata tags are utilized to automatically modify characteristics of the recording or generating of predictive outputs to temporarily consume more computational processing resources during the abnormality-related durations of time.

Abstract: Disclosed is a learning model employed to treat patients with functional impairments due to psychological, mental cognitive or physical disorders or disabilities. The treatment includes accessing at which transition stage of the learning model that a subject has movement transition deficits based on the subject's bio-signals, such as brain state and muscle state signals. The movement transition deficits are addressed so that the subject can attain an upward spiral, accelerating functional recovery or development and avoid a downward spiral towards compensation and slowing down of recovery.

Abstract: Methods for treating and managing pain in a patient with therapeutic neuromodulation and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. Chronic or debilitating pain can be associated, for example, with a disease or condition of the abdominal or reproductive viscera. One aspect of the present technology is directed to methods that at least partially inhibit sympathetic neural activity in nerves proximate a target blood vessel of a diseased or damaged organ of a patient experiencing pain. Targeted sympathetic nerve activity can be modulated at least along afferent pathways which can improve a measurable parameter associated with the pain of the patient The modulation can be achieved, for example, using an intravascularly positioned catheter carrying a therapeutic assembly, e.g., a therapeutic assembly configured to use electrically-induced, thermally-induced, and/or chemically-induced approaches to modulate the target sympathetic nerve.

Abstract: A cardiovascular monitoring system includes a first monitoring device configured to couple to a first body part of a subject and a second monitoring device configured to couple to a second body part of the subject. The first monitoring device is configured to measure a first cardiovascular signal and a first motion signal at the first body part, and the second monitoring device is configured to measure a second cardiovascular signal and a second motion signal at the second body part. A controller of the system receives the first and second cardiovascular signals and the first and second motion signals and filters the first and second cardiovascular signals by removing spectral components that correspond to spectral components of the first and second motion signals. Based on a correlated spectral component that is present in both the filtered first and second cardiovascular signals, the system determines cardiovascular information of the subject.

Abstract: An example electronic device may include a detection circuit and a processor operatively connected to the detection circuit. The processor may be configured to obtain a first signal associated with an external object through the detection circuit; obtain a first HR, using a first filter having an attribute of a first frequency band; obtain a second HR, using a second filter having an attribute of a second frequency band, based at least on the first signal; change at least some attributes associated with the second filter, based at least on the first HR and the second HR; obtain a second signal associated with the external object through the detection circuit; and generate heart rate variability (HRV) information, using the second filter, in which the at least some attributes are changed, based on the second signal.
