摘要: A disk storage system is disclosed, in which disk storage units themselves can autonomously transmit data to complement storage of data between the disk storage units without provision of an exclusive device for managing those disk storage units. The disk storage system includes a disk array system. The disk storage units are connected to one or more host computers and to at least two other disk storage units, the disk storage units comprising a data transmission means for executing the processing of transmission of data between them and the other disk storage units, and a connecting adapter retaining management information of data having been subjected to transmission processing by the data transmission means.

摘要: A data processing method for a disk array device capable of achieving a duplex system of data and improving performance of the same device while a quantity of processing for writing into a cache memory (through a switch) is reduced. In the disk array device, a host interface portion comprises a nonvolatile memory portion for saving data written from a host computer/server, and a data transfer control portion for transferring write data from the host computer/server to the nonvolatile memory portion and a global cache memory portion. If a write request is received from the host computer/server, a data transfer control portion transfers the write data from the host computer/server to the nonvolatile memory portion and to the global cache memory portion through a switch portion.

摘要: Provided are a preparation process of a purified green-tea extract capable of easily and efficiently removing a turbidity component contained in a green tea extract; a purified green-tea extract prepared by the preparation process; and a packaged beverage containing the purified green-tea extract. The preparation process of a purified green-tea extract containing, in the solid content thereof, from 36 to 99 mass % of non-polymer catechins comprises bringing a green tea extract into contact with a mixed solution containing an organic solvent and water at a mass ratio of from 65/35 to 97/3 and active carbon and/or acid clay or active clay, adjusting the organic solvent/water mass ratio of the resulting solution to from 0/100 to 85/15, and then separating the turbidity component thus separated.

摘要: A superimpose-plate is put on a focusing glass, on which a subject image obtained through the photographing optical system is formed. The superimpose-plate and the focusing glass are provided in an incident opening of a hollow pentagonal mirror. The superimpose-plate comprises a plurality of micro-prisms that are formed on the superimpose-plate. Each of the micro-prisms shows a triangle in a cross-section. The vertical angle of the triangle is identical in each of the micro-prisms. A ridgeline of each of the micro-prisms is parallel to the right-left direction of the picture plane of the view finder.

摘要: An arbitrary-shape image-processing device comprises a CCD by which a two-dimensional image is obtained. The image may be rectangular, and a contour of an image area contained in the image may be a circle. Pixel values contained in the image area are converted to a one-dimensional data array, and are recorded in a recording medium. Further, the numbers of pixels of the vertical and the lateral lengths of the two-dimensional image, the coordinates of the center of the circle of the image area, and the radius of the circle are recorded in the recording medium as shape information. Thus, all of the image data of the two-dimensional image is not recorded in the recording medium, but only the image data contained in the image area and the shape information are recorded.

摘要: A plurality of control packages 100 are mounted on both sides of a basic chassis 11 of a disk array device. A cable clamping mechanism 300 is disposed on the underside of the control packages 100 positioned in the space between the control packages 100 and a power unit 400. A rail portion 310 is disposed parallel to the direction in which the control packages 100 are arranged. A number of clamp cores 320 corresponding to the number of the control packages (CHA) are movably disposed on the rail portion 310. Each clamp core 320 corresponds to each of the control package 100, and clamps cables in control package units. Even when tensile force acts on the cables 200 from below, the present invention prevents this force from acting directly on a control package 100.

摘要: A light-projecting device comprises a superimpose-plate, which is put on a focusing glass. A hollow pentagonal mirror has a roof reflecting plane, reflecting a light beam passing through the focusing glass and the superimpose-plate, a third reflecting plane, reflecting the light beam reflected on the roof reflecting plane, and an emergent opening through which the light beam reflected on the third reflecting plane passes. An illumination light beam output from a light source of a light-projecting optical system is reflected on a light-projecting prism, and radiated from the emergent opening to the third reflecting plane. The illumination light beam is reflected on the third reflecting plane and the roof reflecting plane, and is approximately perpendicularly radiated on the superimpose-plate.
