Abstract: A novel mixed material for a light-emitting device with improved heat resistance is provided. The mixed material for a light-emitting device includes a first heteroaromatic compound and a second heteroaromatic compound. The first heteroaromatic compound includes a first heteroaromatic ring. The first heteroaromatic ring includes a ring including two or more nitrogen atoms and any one of a benzene ring and a pyridine ring or a ring including a diazine ring or a triazine ring. The second heteroaromatic compound includes a second heteroaromatic ring. The second heteroaromatic ring includes a ring including two or more nitrogen atoms and any one of a benzene ring and a pyridine ring or a ring including a diazine ring or a triazine ring. A structure of the first heteroaromatic ring is different from a structure of the second heteroaromatic ring.

Abstract: A light-emitting device with high emission efficiency is provided. The light-emitting device includes an EL layer and a light-transmitting electrode. The EL layer includes a light-emitting layer and a low refractive index layer. The low refractive index layer is positioned between the light-emitting layer and the light-transmitting electrode. A cap layer is in contact with a surface of the light-transmitting electrode on the side opposite to the EL layer. The cap layer includes a high refractive index material having an ordinary refractive index of higher than or equal to 1.90 and lower than or equal to 2.40 and an ordinary extinction coefficient of higher than or equal to 0 and lower than or equal to 0.01. The low refractive index layer includes a low refractive index material having an ordinary refractive index of higher than or equal to 1.60 and lower than or equal to 1.70.

Abstract: A light-emitting element having low driving voltage and high emission efficiency is provided. In the light-emitting element, a combination of a guest material and a host material forms an exciplex. The guest material is capable of converting triplet excitation energy into light emission. Light emission from the light-emitting layer includes light emission from the guest material and light emission from the exciplex. The percentage of the light emission from the exciplex to the light emission from the light-emitting layer is greater than 0 percent and less than or equal to 60 percent. The energy after subtracting the energy of light emission from the exciplex from the energy of light emission from the guest material is greater than 0 eV and less than or equal to 0.23 eV.

Abstract: Provided is a light-emitting device that can display an image with a wide color gamut or a novel light-emitting element. Abstract: A light-emitting device material with a low refractive index is provided. The light-emitting device material contains an organic compound which has a pyridine skeleton, a diazine skeleton, or a triazine skeleton and in which the proportion of carbon atoms forming a bond by sp3 hybrid orbitals is within a certain range. The light-emitting device material contains an organic compound including at least one six-membered heteroaromatic ring having 1 to 3 nitrogen atoms and a plurality of aromatic hydrocarbon rings each having 6 to 14 carbon atoms in a ring. At least two of the plurality of aromatic hydrocarbon rings are benzene rings. The organic compound has a plurality of hydrocarbon groups forming a bond by the sp3 hybrid orbitals. The ordinary refractive index of a layer containing the organic compound with respect to light with a wavelength in the range from 455 nm to 465 nm is 1.5 to 1.75.
