摘要： A method and apparatus for generating vibration in a portable terminal are provided. The apparatus for generating vibration in a portable terminal includes a plurality of vibrators mounted and driven to generate vibration in a single vibration direction at positions separated from each other by predetermined distances on the portable terminal, and a controller for determining respective vibration patterns of the plurality of vibrators according to a control operation of the portable terminal and driving the plurality of vibrators according to the vibration patterns.

摘要： In a folder type or a swing type terminal including a pair of housings or triple housings for attaining composite opening/closing operation, information transmission with a higher speed and larger capacity is available using optical devices for establishing communication lines between circuit devices in the housings. Also, a stable maintenance of the communication lines is possible between the circuit devices of the housings in spite of repeated opening/closing operation of the housings.

摘要： Provided is an optical module including a light source for generating an optical signal, a waveguide for waveguiding the optical signal, a photodetector for detecting the optical signal, a first reflecting mirror on the light source for reflecting the optical signal generated by the light source to a side of the waveguide, and a second reflecting mirror on the photodetector for reflecting an optical signal emitted from the waveguide in a vertical downward direction. The photodetector detects an optical signal reflected by the second reflecting mirror.
