Abstract: A multiposition switch for operatively selecting any of the multipositions which are aligned and spaced from each other in two different directions. The multiposition switch includes a structure wherein all stationary contacts to be switched by first and second switching contacts are insert-molded onto an insulator member simultaneously and are fixed thereonto exactly in a predetermined arrangement. A first contact holder is moved in a first direction when an operation knob is operated in the first direction. A second contact holder is moved in a second direction when the operation knob is operated in the second direction while the first contact holder is maintained in a neutral position.
