摘要: A battery cover latching mechanism (300) for latching a battery cover (20) on a housing (10) of a portable electronic device. The battery cover has a fixing portion (204) defining a hollow (206) therein. The latching mechanism includes a button (30), a locking member (40) and an elastic member (60). The button (30) has an inclined surface (308). The locking member has a claw (408) engaged with the hollow and a slanted surface (414) that resists the inclined surface. The button is mounted in the housing and is movable along a first direction. When the button moves along the first direction, the locking member is driven to slide along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, so as to move the claw from a first position where the claw engages in the hollow to a second position where the claw releases from the hollow.

摘要: A surface contact card holder (200) for an electronic device includes a latching portion (30) and an elastic frame (40). The electronic device has a device body (10) with a receiving groove (20) defined therein for receiving a surface contact card (50) therein and the receiving groove has a card entrance (1002). The latching portion (30) is located adjacent to the card entrance of the receiving groove and the elastic frame is configured for attaching to the device body. The elastic frame has a first frame end (402) located adjacent to the card entrance, and an opposite second frame end (4013). The first frame end has a pressing portion configured for pressing the surface card against the body. The second frame end and the latching portion are configured for sandwiching the surface card therebetween.

摘要: A battery cover latching assembly is for use in a portable electronic device. The battery cover latching assembly includes a battery cover (10), a housing (40) and a locking member (20). The battery cover has a hook (122) formed on end thereof and a receiving hole (116) defined adjacent the hook. The housing has a catching portion formed on one end thereof. The locking member has an operating portion (22) and a cylindrical post (24) extending from one side of the operating portion. A latching portion (244) extends radially from the post and adjoins the operating portion. The operating portion is received the receiving hole of the battery cover. The post of the locking member is rotatably engaged with the catching portion of the housing. The latching portion of the locking member is releasably locked with the hook of the battery cover.

摘要: A foldable electronic device (100) has at least two components hinged together by a hinge assembly. The foldable electronic device includes: a cover (10), a rotating element (20), an elastic element (30) and a frame (40), a set of magnetic elements (50) and a body (60). The rotating element has two notches defined therein. The elastic element has a latching portion. The elastic element is fixed in the rotating element. The frame slidably engages with the rotating element. The frame is engaged with the cover. The rotating element rotatably connects with the body. The magnetic elements make the cover close relative to the body. When the latching portion of the rotating element engages in different notches of the rotating element, magnetic force between the magnetic elements decreases so as to open the cover relative to the body.

摘要: A hinge assembly (200) includes a connecting member (10), two cams (30), two shafts (20), two elastic elements (40) and two barrels (50). The connecting member includes a first sleeve (12), a second sleeve (14) and a connecting sleeve (16) connected between. The first sleeve and the second sleeve each have respective partition boards (104, 144) formed therein. Each partition board includes a plurality of protrusions extending therefrom with a plurality of latching grooves formed between the protrusions. Each cam includes at least one latching block (32) and defines an axial hole (36). Each shaft has a shaft portion (24), and the shaft portion is configured for passing through the axial hole of each cam. Each elastic element provides an elastic force for each cam so as to hold the cam against the protrusions.

The receiving portion is configured for receiving a surface contact card (20). The receiving portion includes an aperture (113) formed at a first end thereof via which the surface contact card enters or exits, and a latching containing portion (114) formed at an opposite second end thereof. The latch portion is received in the latching containing portion. The latch portion is operable to move in the latching containing portion so as to drive the surface contact card to move out of the receiving portion through the aperture.

摘要: A holder for holding a surface contact card (40) includes a main body (10), a latch (20), a fixing portion (18) and an elastic element (30). The main body defines a receiving groove (16) and a sliding groove (17). The receiving groove is located at one side of the main body. The sliding groove is configured for receiving the surface contact card therein. The latch engages the receiving groove and selectably encloses one end of the surface contact card. The fixing portion is provided on the opposite side of the main body adjacent to the sliding groove. The elastic element sets in the fixing portion and configures for resisting the other end of the surface contact card. The elastic element provides a force allowing removal of the surface contact card.

When the latching portion of the rotating element engages in different notches of the rotating element, magnetic force between the magnetic elements decreases so as to open the cover relative to the body.

The switch is rotatably mounted on the housing. The switch engages with the locking member. The rotation of the switch urges the locking member to slide from the first position to a second position.
