摘要:
An RFID tag that has a tag antenna and a tag LSI comprising: a power-supply element in which the tag LSI is mounted on a power-supply section; a plurality of patch antennas that function as tag antennas and sizes differs; and a high-frequency coupling section that couples the power-supply element with each of the patch antennas by high-frequency coupling.
摘要:
An antenna for a radio frequency identification tag, includes a dielectric board; and a pair of conductive plates; wherein the pair of the conductive plates has a point symmetrical configuration with respect to a mounting position of a radio frequency identification tag integrated circuit. The pair of the conductive plates and the mounting position of the radio frequency identification tag integrated circuit may be arranged along a standard line on the surface of the dielectric board.

A compact antenna structure having substantially no directivity independent of a tag direction in an RFID tag is proposed. The antenna structure includes a pair of dipole antennas is provided in a cross dipole antenna to be applied to an RFID system for communicating information between a reader/writer and the tag using a high-frequency radio signal. The above pair of dipole antennas further includes lines extending from a feed point and mutually intersecting crosswise, and also triangularly expanded lines from the bent ends of the above lines. Each total length of the above pair of dipole antennas is longer than 2/λ of a use frequency λ.

A radio frequency identification tag that is thin and flexible, and is capable of performing communication when attached to metal, and also can be manufactured at a lower cost. An inverted-F antenna has a radiating element, a short pin, a power supply portion, and a ground bottom board, and is flatly formed on the front surface of a film. The film is an insulting film such as polyethylene terephthalate, and is attached to the metal housing of an electronic device such that the radiating element, the short pin, and the power supply portion of the inverted-F antenna formed on the front surface are projected from the metal housing.

A communication distance difference due to an attached object can be canceled, and an RFID system can be provided which has approximately the same communication distance regardless of an attached position (surface) of a tag. A tag antenna used for such the RFID system is for transmitting/receiving a radio signal to/from an RFID reader/writer in an RFID system has a pair of antenna elements centered on a feeding point and when a carrier wavelength of the radio signal is λ, each of the pair of the antenna elements includes a dipole portion which has a length from the feeding point of approximate λ/4 and a plurality of bending portions as well as a circular polarized wave generation portion linked to an end of the dipole portion.

In a folded dipole antenna, both ends of a first dipole portion with a feeding portion are connected to both ends of a second dipole portion so that a slot portion may be formed, and the first and the second dipole portion have a width for generating a linearly-polarized wave in a slot mode (in a longitudinal direction) when an RFID chip is mounted on the feeding portion. A terminal of a chip is actually connected to an antenna terminal of the feeding portion of the folded dipole antenna to realize a tag.
