    摘要: Disclosed is a retention system for an automotive door impact protection beam. The system comprises a bracket coupled to a door panel of a vehicle, the bracket comprising an aperture, and an impact protection beam coupled to the bracket and positioned adjacent to the door panel of the vehicle. The system further comprises a longitudinal primary face that includes a longitudinally extending mast comprising a stiffening bead and a hook end, wherein the mast extends through the aperture of the bracket, a first coupling shoulder coupled to the door panel, a shelf projecting laterally from a top edge of the primary face, a longitudinal secondary face projecting from an edge of the shelf; and a second coupling shoulder coupled to the door panel. The shelf includes an opening that is longer and wider than the mast.

    摘要: A cargo assist can help a user in loading, unloading, and/or transporting items in a vehicle. The cargo assist can include a cargo assist arm. A cargo carrier can be operatively connected to the cargo assist arm and can be selectively disconnected therefrom. The cargo assist arm can be selectively movable between at least a stowed position and a deployed position. In the stowed position, the cargo assist arm can be located entirely within a cargo space of the vehicle. At least a portion of the cargo assist arm and at least a portion of the cargo carrier can be received within a recess defined within a first lateral side wall of the cargo space. In the deployed position, the cargo carrier and a portion of the cargo assist arm can extend through an access opening to the cargo space and can be located outside of the vehicle.

    摘要: A self-cleaning weather strip seal is provided for a vehicle. The self-cleaning weather strip seal includes an attachment portion configured to couple the self-cleaning weather strip seal to a vehicle component. The seal includes a main body portion having a length dimension and a width dimension. The main body portion includes a flexible wall that defines an interior region configured to retain a volume of air. A relief opening is defined in the main body portion and provides selective fluid communication from the interior region to an external environment. Upon receiving a compressive force on the main body portion, the relief opening is aligned and configured to direct pressurized air toward a surface of the vehicle susceptible for accumulating debris. In various aspects, the main body portion defines a plurality of chambers aligned in a series along the length dimension.

    摘要: A vehicular cowl louver assembly, a vehicular windshield assembly and a vehicle. A cowl louver that makes up a portion of the vehicular cowl louver assembly has one or more recesses formed in an upper-facing surface with which to provide storage of an ice scraper. A resiliently-biased clip allows the ice scraper to be selectively removable from the cowl louver to enable a person to scrape ice, snow or other debris from a vehicular windshield. The ice scraper may be returned to the recess after use, where the clip keeps the two secured to one another, even during vehicular movement. In one form, the surface of the ice scraper may be made to form a substantially flush, continuous fit with the portion of the surface of the cowl louver that is adjacent the recess to improve aerodynamic and aesthetic features of the cowl louver assembly.
