    摘要： A washing machine and washing method therefor are provided. The washing method may include applying a first directional torque to a drum so that laundry in the drum is rotated in a first direction and lifted to a maximum height greater than half a height of the drum, braking the drum so that the laundry is dropped, applying a second directional torque to the drum so that the dropped laundry is rotated in a second direction and lifted to a maximum height greater than half a height of the drum, and braking the drum so that the laundry is dropped.

    摘要： A wash water sensing apparatus of a laundry treatment machine is provided. The wash water sensing apparatus includes a sealing cover coupled to the tub by being inserted into a hole of the tub, the sealing cover including a through hole; and a sensor body including a plurality of electrodes for measuring the conductivity of wash water and coupled to the sealing cover by being inserted into the through hole. Therefore, it is possible to simplify the structure of a laundry treatment machine and facilitate the assembly of a laundry treatment machine.

A dryer or washing machine may include the steam generator described herein.
