摘要: A cooling apparatus for automotive use wherein speed of an electric cooling fan is controlled solely at a predetermined speed. When a relay switch is switched on, voltage of a battery is applied to a lag circuit. Output of the lag circuit is applied to a gate G of a MOS transistor, but rise of the gate-applied voltage is delayed by the lag circuit according to a time constant thereof, and increases slowly. When the gate-applied voltage reaches the threshold voltage of the MOS transistor, the MOS transistor begins to switch on. However, when the gate-applied voltage is low, the drain current flowing through the MOS transistor is limited and thereby surge current at the motor is minimized.

摘要: A color-sorting machine for granular materials optically detects raw material grains falling along a substantially fixed path and sorts out no-good grains by color. An optical detection unit to this end comprises a condenser lens, a plurality of optical filters and a plurality of light-receiving sensors corresponding to the filters and can detect a plurality of wavelengths. The light-receiving sensors lie side by side on the same plane, are formed in a unit body, require no positioning adjustment among the light-receiving sensors, and make it possible to reduce the size of the optical system. A prism is provided between the condenser lens and the light-receiving sensors. The prism has light path diffraction surfaces of the same number as the light-receiving sensors, so that the light-receiving sensors receive light of the same point of view and can perform color sorting. Detected light partition plates are provided between adjacent light path diffraction surfaces of the prism and between the corresponding adjacent light-receiving sensors to improve the precision of optical detection.

摘要: A pulse color sorter which permits removal of internally and externally moldy pulse having afuratoxine as decomposition product is disclosed. The pulse color sorter comprises a first detector which provides a first and a second detection signal according to dispersed and transmitted light having two different wavelengths (for instance 700 and 1,100 nm) with different contents of information due to the separation of wavelengths, a second detector which provides a third detection signal according to reflected light, and a controller which calculates division of the first and second detection signals from the first detector, compares the resultant value calculated to a first predetermined threshold value while also compares the third signal from the second detector to a second threshold value, and outputs an eject signal if either of the compared signals is beyond the corresponding threshold value. According to the eject signal, corresponding defective pulse is forcibly ejected. Since the judgment as to moldy pulse is done on the basis of the division of the first and second detection signals, accurate judgment is obtainable irrespective of the sizes of individual pieces of pulse.

摘要: A semiconductor device includes first and second interfaces, and a control unit. The first interface is capable of being connected to a memory card and communicating with the memory card. The memory card has a nonvolatile semiconductor memory and has an unlock state and a lock state. The memory card in the unlock state permits an access to the nonvolatile semiconductor memory. The memory card in the lock state prohibits the access. The second interface is capable of being connected to a host device and communicating with the host device. The host device generates an access command to access the memory card. The control unit operates based on the access command sent from the host device through the second interface so as to release the lock state of the memory card, when the memory card is connected to the first interface.
