The receiving cavity is configured to receive the display structure therein. The supporting surface is located at the bottom of the receiving cavity. The absorption holes are arranged at the bottom of the receiving cavity and each penetrates through the supporting surface. The absorption holes are configured to vacuum absorb the display structure on the supporting surface via vacuum absorption means. The pressure-supplying member is configured to apply a pressure onto the backside plate so as to stack the backside plate on the rear surface of the display structure. The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing an electrophoretic display.
