Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed where a server receives a request to establish a remote online notarization session. The server identifies participants including at least a signer and a notary and identifies identifying an envelope to be notarized during the remote online notarization session. The server determines, based on contents of the envelope, parameters of the remote online notarization session, and selects a protocol to which the remote online notarization session will conform. The system establishes the remote online notarization session using the protocol, and determines, while monitoring the session, whether the protocol was breached by at least one of the signer and the notary. If the protocol was breached, the server re-starts the remote online notarization session, otherwise the server the remote online notarization session, and outputs a notarized version of the envelope.

Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for receiving a set of rules associated with a document type from a supplier entity. Each rule identifies a set of conditions and a set of actions to be taken after a document of a document type is signed if the set of conditions is satisfied. When a supplier entity sends a document of the document type to a signing entity and the signing entity provides an electronic signature, the system determines whether conditions of rules associated with the document type are satisfied. For each rule that is satisfied, the system performs actions identified by the rule.

Abstract: A centralized document system generates a document package in response to a request by an originating entity. The document package includes at least one document for execution. To facilitate the execution of the at least one document, the centralized document system can provide one or more means to modify the document package. The centralized document system may provide the document package to a receiving entity and receive a request to modify the document package from the receiving entity. The centralized document system may scan the document package prior to sending to a receiving entity and automatically modify the document package according to the scan. The centralized document system may provide the document package to a receiving entity and determine the receiving entity is unavailable. As such, the centralized document system may determine a substitute receiving entity and provide the document package to the substitute entity for execution.

Abstract: A computing system remotely trains a public ensemble model of an artificial intelligence model management system. The system receives, by the model management system, an encrypted representation of a private data value from a client system. The encrypted representation includes annotation information provided by the client system. The system determines, using the encrypted representation and the annotation information, a data value cluster that corresponds to the private data value. Data value clusters are generated using encrypted representations of a private data values provided by client systems. The system obtains, based on the assigned data value cluster, an encrypted representation of a model. The model is trained remotely by the client system using the private data value. The system adds the encrypted representation of the model to the public ensemble model. The public ensemble model is generated using a plurality of encrypted representations of models remotely trained by the client systems.

Abstract: Techniques for electronic signature process management are described. Some embodiments provide an electronic signature service (“ESS”) configured to manage electronic identity cards. In some embodiments, the ESS generates and manages an electronic identity card for a user, based on personal information of the user, activity information related to the user's actions with respect to the ESS, and/or social networking information related to the user. The electronic identity card of a signer may be associated with an electronic document signed via the ESS, so that users may obtain information about the signer of the document. The ESS may also generate a trust score for the user based on activity information related to the user's actions with respect to the ESS and/or other factors. The trust score may be used to recommend authentication mechanisms to use with respect to electronic signature transactions.

Abstract: An online document system provides a recommendation for one or more features within the online document system to an entity. The online document system accesses a set of feature training data to train a machine learning model. The set of feature training data may describe characteristics of entities associated with the online document system and historical activity associated with the entities' usage of the online document system's features. The machine learning model may be configured to identify a feature to recommend to an entity based on the entity's characteristics and history of using other features within the online document system. For example, data representing the entity's user accounts and use of an electronic signature feature is used by the machine learning model to identify a document authentication feature to recommend to the entity. The online document system may then provide the identified feature in a recommendation to the entity.

Abstract: A document execution engine receives a training set of data representative of incidents of malicious activity within a document execution environment. The training set also includes data representative of remedial actions taken in response to the malicious behavior, and resulting measures of mitigation. The document execution engine trains a machine learned model based on the training set. The trained machine learned model, when applied to activity within the document execution environment, can identify activity that is indicative of malicious behavior. The trained machine learned model can then output recommendations for remedial actions to take in response to the identified malicious activity. The recommended remedial actions can be provided for display to a user of the document execution engine, via a client device of the user.

Abstract: Techniques for obtaining electronic signatures via word processing applications are described. One approach utilizes a code module, also referred to as a “markup module,” that executes within a word processing application and that facilitates the preparation of a document for electronic signature. A user can operate the word processing application together with the markup module in order to add signature tag markers to the document and to provide recipient information about intended signers, such as names and email addresses. Once the document has been prepared, the code module transmits the document (including the added signature tag markers) and the recipient information to a digital transaction service. The digital transaction service then manages the signing of the document, such as by notifying the recipient, receiving the recipient's signature and securely storing the signature in association with the document.
