Abstract: A system of present disclosure, in one or more embodiments, receives selections of first and second points for a path. The first point is at a first position and the second point is at a second position in a digital design document. The system identifies a glyph of text nearest a location of the first position and determines a geometry of the glyph. The system determines a first parametric value of the geometry of the glyph nearest to the first position and determines a second parametric value of the geometry of the glyph nearest to the second position. The system generates the path between the first position and the second position that follows the geometry of the glyph at a consistent offset relative to the glyph by utilizing the first parametric value and the second parametric value to generate path geometry that follows the geometry of the glyph.

Abstract: The present invention includes a data processing system wherein age of data as interpreted by an output device is displayed for operator approval prior to output on a hard copy. The process and system for authorizing elements for physical surfaces as hard copies to be displayed at events, gatherings, sporting events, etc. Input script is transmitted to an operator authority party computer system with a visual element script substance. The operator authority party aids in compiling an approved final script. Authentication is aided in that a token is provided to indicate printing approval prior to output on a hard copy outside the control zone of the authority party, or the printing of a hard copy can occur inside a zone controlled by the authority party. Third parties can introduce script substance to a populated catalogue over a wide area network to users for commercial, controlled use.

Abstract: A presentation assistance system receives information about a presentation to be given and automatically provides feedback to improve the presentation either offline or in real time as the presentation unfolds using computer models, where a presentation is a collection of multi-media content, including but not limited to text, slides and graphics, and audio and video streams. The computer models may be trained based on prior presentations and performance metrics of relevant entities. In particular, the presentation includes interactions with audience members and computer models are used to generate likely participants and related interactions, such as questions or recommendations for improved interactions, relevant to the current presentation based on a set of machine learning and AI models, and, in particular, language models. The language model may be prompted with prior relevant questions to determine questions for the current presentation and evaluate the likelihood that the current presentation effectively answers them.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for counterfactual conversation simulation is disclosed. The computer-implemented method includes generating a system output based, at least in part, on a user input. The computer-implemented method further includes determining that a system output/user input pair is not satisfactory based, at least in part, on a system output/user input score being below a predetermined threshold. The computer-implemented method further includes generating, in response to determining the system output/user input pair is not satisfactory, a counterfactual simulation of the user input based, at least in part, on a target intent of the user input.

Abstract: A method for processing lists in handwriting, comprising: initially classifying each of a plurality of text lines as a distinct text item which is not part of a list; and a classification process comprising a pattern detection in each text line for classifying each text line starting with a predetermined list symbol as a distinct list item which is part of a list; determining an item indentation of each text item with respect to a reference position and determining for each list item a text indentation representing the indentation of text comprised in said list item; and a merging step for merging, as part of a same text item, or as part of a same list item, if predefined conditions are met. A text structure data model may then be generated based on a result of the merging process.
