    摘要： The invention relates to an improved structure of a securing runner of an umbrella. The runner includes a sleeve, a nest, and a base, wherein the sleeve has an upper and a lower groove on one side related to a curved end and a holding end of a detent positioned in a main tube of the umbrella. The nest portion connecting with stretchers of the umbrella and the base are provided around the sleeve that the base has an inner circular rim to fit into a circular groove provided on lower part of the sleeve to obtain a good engagement between both. While the runner is pull downward, the sleeve urges the detent spring moving inwardly directly and the runner can be slid down to close the umbrella.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a safety runner for use in an umbrella, which makes use of a slidable sleeve that has an internal flange at the upper portion thereof and rides on a runner element embracing an umbrella rod; by means of a slide motion of the sleeve relative to the runner element, a resilient bow lever housed in the umbrella rod being depressed by the internal flange to release the detention of the runner so that users can close the umbrella in an easy and safe way.

    摘要： An umbrella frame has a pivotal connection between a crown or slider and canopy spokes or struts (1), respectively. The connection involves a sheet metal sleeve (3), which is carried on a stick (4) and has, integrally formed with it, an annular flange (5) and lobes (6). Each lobe comprises an axially extending inner section (6a) and an, initially outwardly extending, outer section (6b). During assembly, the outer sections are curled inwards about pivot pins(s) for the spokes or struts (1), which are seated in radius portions (R) at the junctions of the inner and outer lobe sections.
