摘要： A flush toilet has a housing and a bowl set in the housing, having an upper rim, and having an inner surface extending downward from the rim. A ring atop the bowl has a plurality of nozzles spaced about the rim and each directed at an acute angle against an immediately adjacent portion of the inner bowl surface. Respective conduits have outer ends connected to the nozzles and inner ends. A supply feeds water under pressure to the inner ends and thereby directs streams of water from the nozzles against the inner surface. The conduits are all of substantially the same length between their ends so that pressure at the nozzles is uniform. These conduits are at least partially formed by flexible tubes. In addition each nozzle has an oval-shaped outlet opening and is directed at an acute angle of between 10° and 20° against the respective adjacent bowl portion and also at an angle of between 20° and 40° to vertical.

摘要： The toilet with a deflector shield covering the flush nozzle to deflect a portion of the flush water. The deflected water flows downward to wet the bowl in the area beneath the flush water nozzle. The undeflected water flows onto a ledge at the upper end of the bowl and flows around the bowl where it gradually falls off the ledge and wets the remaining portion of the bowl. Both a foot pedal and a hand lever are provided for flushing the toilet and a cable is used to couple the foot pedal to the hand lever. The hand lever is operably connected to the flush water valve as well as the bowl discharge opening closure member to open both for flushing of the toilet.

摘要： A vacuum flush water closet having the bowl, rim and pedestal made of china. The water closet has a self contained flushing water dispensing valve and sewage discharge valve control system operatively mounted around and under the bowl. The water closet is secured to the floor/deck by use of a base mounting plate. The sewage discharge valve is fixedly secured to the underside of the bowl and the said valve is manually opened and spring closed. Flushing water is supplied through a flexible flush tube mounted around the underside of the upper rim of the bowl. The flushing water is directed by a vacuum operated water dispensing valve. The operation of the water dispensing valve is controlled by a 3-way vacuum switch. The sewage discharge valve is manually operated by a foot pedal mounted below and in front of the bowl. The duration of the sewage discharge valve opening time is controlled by the manual operation and release of the foot pedal. The flushing water volme is limited by a programmed operation of the water dispensing valve and operates independently of the sewage discharge valve opening time.

In one embodiment, there is a flexible tube portion forming a compressible portion and a guide portion extending out from the outer wall of the tube portion which has a plurality of downwardly directed water channels. The guide and tube portions are constructed so as to be able to retain the distributor in the flush rim of the toilet bowl in a compressive manner and without projections in the flush rim.

摘要： There is a requirement when using toilets to prevent and/or remove the accumulation of odor-causing substances from the sidewall of the toilet bowl. This can easily be accomplished with ceramic toilets where the water is directed to swirl around by angled holes formed in the flushing rim. However, in stainless steel toilets, the material is too thin to form angled holes and the water has previously simply entered a flushing rim and run vertically down the wall of the toilet. This invention is an improvement in the flushing rim portion of a stainless steel toilet which causes the water to swirl around as in ceramic toilets, to effectively clean the inside of the toilet bowl. Instead of drilled holes, the rim has upturned notches in its lower wall which cause the flushing water to spray the toilet bowl wall in an overlapping pattern. The notches also contribute to the swirling action of the water.

The outlet structure is fluidly connected to the sump and is configured to discharge water from the sump into a drain.
