摘要: Methods are provided for producing a plurality of lubricant base oil products with an increased overall yield. Prior to the final hydrocracking stage for viscosity index uplift, a feed for making a lubricant base oil is fractionated in order to form at least a feed for making a lighter lubricant base oil and a feed for making a heavier lubricant base oil. The fractionation cut points are selected to so that the feed fraction for forming a light lubricant base oil has a higher Noack volatility and a lower viscosity than the desired targets for the lighter lubricant base oil. The feed fractions are then hydroprocessed separately to achieve desired properties. After hydroprocessing, a portion of the heavier base oil is blended into the light lubricant base oil to produce a blended base oil product. This returns the volatility and the viscosity of the blended base oil to the desired specifications.

摘要: A method, system on a chip, and computer system for generating more robust keys which utilize data occupying relatively small die areas is disclosed. Embodiments provide a convenient and effective mechanism for generating a key for use in securing data on a portable electronic device, where the key is generated from repurposed data and a relatively small amount. A multi-stage encryption algorithm may be performed to generate the key, where the first stage may include encrypting the secure data, and the second stage may include encrypting the result of a logical operation on the encrypted secure data with a unique identifier of the portable electronic device. A secret key may be used as the encryption key for each stage. The result of the second encryption stage may include the generated key which may be used to perform subsequent operations on the portable electronic device.

摘要: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for reducing the copying of data between memory allocated to a primary processor and a coprocessor is disclosed. The system memory is aliased as device memory to allow the coprocessor and the primary processor to share the same portion of memory. Either device may write and/or read the shared portion of memory to transfer data between the devices rather than copying data from a portion of memory that is only accessible by one device to a different portion of memory that is only accessible by the other device. Removal of the need for explicit primary processor memory to coprocessor memory and coprocessor memory to primary processor memory copies improves the performance of the application and reduces physical memory requirements for the application since one portion of memory is shared rather than allocating separate private portions of memory.

摘要: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for handling secure user interface content. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, at a data processing apparatus, content over a communication network from a computing system separate from the data processing apparatus; determining that the received content is authentic secure content; retrieving information stored at the data processing apparatus and previously selected by a user for purposes of securing user interface content; rendering the received content, to a display of the data processing apparatus, as a user interface with a visual wrapper, where the visual wrapper includes the retrieved information, visually separates the user interface from other visual elements on the display, and includes an indication that the user interface is secure; and processing input received through the user interface.

摘要: In one embodiment, a system detects a lecturer within a videoconference. The system includes two or more participant systems and a media switch coupled to each of the participant systems. The media switch includes a switch processor to receive and process audio and video information from the participant systems. The switch processor analyzes loudness metric values of active speakers and designates a particular speaker as a lecturer. In addition, the switch processor provides audio and video information of the remaining conference participants to the lecturer participant system to rotate through conference participants with each participant being displayed to the lecturer for a predetermined interval (e.g., in a round robin fashion), thereby enabling the lecturer to view the entire audience.

摘要: Conditions selected for lubricant base oil production can be used to also produce a high quality diesel product. The diesel product can have a cetane index or cetane number of at least 55, corresponding to a high value diesel fuel. The diesel product can also have good cold flow properties, such as a pour point of −40° C. or less and/or a cloud point of 25° C. or less. Additionally, the sulfur content of the diesel product can be low, such as less than 1 wppm. This can allow the diesel product to be blended with other potential diesel boiling range products that have a higher sulfur content while still meeting an overall diesel fuel specification. The aromatics content can also be low, allowing the premium diesel to comply with various regulatory requirements.
