摘要： A blanket for warming a child seated in a stroller having a frame, a seat, and push handles is provided. The blanket includes a sack portion for receiving the legs of the child seated in the stroller, the sack portion having side walls, a rear wall, and a front wall. The blanket also includes an upper portion for covering the torso of the child seated in the stroller. The upper portion includes a front wall and side walls, each of the side walls including an upper and a lower section. The front wall of the upper portion is attached to the lower sections of the side walls of the upper portion such that the front wall forms a flap which may cover the chest of the child seated in the stroller during particularly cold weather, and which may be folded down during more mild weather and when the child is to exit the stroller. A set of upper fastener strips is attached to the side walls of the upper portion for attaching the blanket to the push handles of the stroller, and a set of lower fastener strips is attached to the side walls of the upper portion for attaching the blanket to the frame of the stroller proximate to the seat of the stroller.

摘要： A unitary garment for full or partial coverage of a torso that may be fully put on or removed, at the choice of the wearer, as an assembled or a disassembled garment, and subsequently may be partially removed and put on, again at the choice of the wearer, has a torso portion for providing at least some coverage of the front and back of a wearer, a pants portion having a front portion, a crotch portion for passing between the legs and connected to the front portion, and a seat portion connected to the crotch portion. One of the seat portion and front portion is connected to the torso portion, and the other of the front portion and seat portion has at its edges first fastening elements to selectively attach and release to assemble and disassemble the garment. In another aspect of the invention, a unitary garment for full or partial coverage of a torso has a pants portion, for providing at least some coverage of the bottom half of a wearer, and a torso portion, for providing at least some coverage of the front and back of the top half of a wearer. One of the pants and the torso portions has an over band forming an inwardly facing ridge, the other of the portions has an under band forming an outwardly facing ridge, so that, when the one portion is disposed over the other portion, the bands interlock. Thus, the outwardly facing ridge is disposed between the inwardly facing ridge and the one portion, and the inwardly facing ridge is disposed between the outwardly facing ridge and the other piece to releasably attach the pants portion to the torso portion.

摘要： An edge construction for a garment. The construction includes a garment body provided with a finished lower edge and sleeves suitably attached opposite side of the upper end of the garment body. The body is cut away in the usual manner at its upper extremity to form a neck opening. The upper edge portion of the body portion is folded inwardly to form a first fold. A strip of collarette fabric material is formed into a longitudinally extending second fold therein to form inner and outer layers. The inner and outer layers are disposed on the inner face of the body portion so as to have the second fold lie substantially parallel to the folded edge of the body portion. The lower edge portion of the outer layer is folded inwardly upon itself so as to form a third fold extending substantially parallel to the first and second folds. At least two rows of substantially parallel stitching fix the strip of fabric material to the fabric body portion. Because both the edges of the fabric body and the collarette fabric strip are folded inwardly, no raw edges show. The resulting construction is durable, has a natural tendency to lay flat, and provides an attractive finish in the neck of the garment.

摘要： A garment for shielding from an infant's head and hands intravenous and gastrostomy lines infused into the infant during invasive therapy. The garment accomplishes its shielding objectives without restraining the infant's head or limbs while promoting mental health and development through free movement and play. The garment generally speaking is a sleeveless wrap-around type vest provided with a clotch tab attached to the interior side of the front of the vest for anchoring a portion of the infused line located underneath the vest when it is positioned on the infant. The vest is also uniquely provided with an opening for permitting portions of the infused line to exit from beneath the vest and with cooperating components attached to the exterior side of the vest for further anchoring portions of the infused line which have exited from beneath the vest via the opening. Since the vest is of the wrap-around type, it conforms comfortably to the torso of the infant, shields the infused lines from the infant's head and limbs and encourages the infant to engage in free movement and play.
