    摘要: An apparatus for sliding/gliding on a surface includes a long board and a short board connected to the long board through a hitch beam. The short board is connected to the hitch beam through an axle placed at an angle on the short board, and the long board is connected to the hitch beam through a stationary, non-rotating connection. A turn plate on the long board is connected to the short board so that as the turn plate rotates relative to the long board, the short board can be turned simultaneously with the lifting the lateral inside edge.

    摘要: A heel lock and release combination for a splitboard boot binding. For use in ski touring mode, the binding includes a baseplate for receiving a rider's boot and a spring clamp affixed to a ski member of a splitboard binding interface. The baseplate is pivotably affixed to the ski at the toe. The spring clamp is mounted on a heel rest and may be repositioned between a heel locking and a free heel position. When locked, the spring clamp engages the heel end of the baseplate and prevents heel release. The engagement of the spring clamp is configured so that release of the heel occurs under stress: reducing injury.

    摘要: A riding board adapted with one or more foot retaining mechanism allows rotation of a foot in a plane extending parallel to the riding board. Each foot retaining mechanism comprises a rotatable foot support section relative to the retaining mechanism and adapted with an arrangement for forming at least a boot ramp or part thereof. The boot ramp is dimensioned in such a way that the heel and the toes extend sufficiently outside of a rotatable center section to be able to press on a fixed locking support section relative to the retaining mechanism. Thus, when the heel, toes or all are pressed against the locking section, the rotatable foot support section is locked.

    摘要: A snowboard without foot bindings enables a rider to perform skateboard tricks while sliding on snow. A pair of runner boards is connected in a spaced longitudinal relationship by a strut. A pole is attached to the strut by a universal joint enabling a rider to perform maneuvers while holding onto a handle at the end of the pole. The universal joint enables the runner boards to rotate 360° about a longitudinal axis extending along the board and rotate 360° about a vertical axis and other angles therebetween providing the same freedom of movement to the runner boards that a skateboard provides for its rider. The pole is pivotally mounted to the connector enabling the pole to pivot through an arc of at least 180°.
