    摘要: The present invention relates to a set of coupling assemblies comprising a right coupling assembly and a left coupling assembly being configured to be mounted on aboard for board sports and to receive respectively a right boot and a left boot, wherein the right and left coupling assembly comprise an inner receiving unit and outer receiving unit, wherein each inner receiving unit comprises a locking arm which is pivotable about a main inner pivot axis from a locked position to a released position and vice versa, wherein each inner receiving unit comprises a pull mechanism comprising:—at least one elongate interlink member which extends between the two inner receiving units, and—a link pull member configured to engage the boot or the inner boot coupling part and to receive a pull force from the boot or boot coupling part when the boot or boot coupling part is no longer held by the coupling assembly and moves away from the coupling assembly, and to be pulled over a pull distance by said boot or by the boot coupling part, wherein the pull mechanism is configured to transfer the pull force and the pull distance to the at least one elongate interlink member, and to convert the pull distance in an interlink pull distance of the elongate interlink member, and wherein said interlink pull distance pivots the locking arm of the other coupling assembly from the locking position to the released position, thereby releasing the other boot.

    摘要: The invention relates to the systems for ensuring the safety of an individual, particularly in case of avalanche or other emergencies when snowboarding. The system for jettisoning a snowboard consists of a signaling device comprising a wireless transmitting module, a contact connected to an initiating lever, current source and equipment release modules. Each equipment release module which is arranged on a corresponding strap (rear strap, or on each of the straps) of the snowboard binding consists of the wireless receiving module, a replaceable pyrotechnic element and a current source. Each replaceable pyrotechnical element is an integral part of the strap (rear strap) of the snowboard binding, the latter constituting a plastic band which consists of two parts and is connected by a rod according to the swivel hinge principle.

    摘要: A heel lock and release combination for a splitboard boot binding. For use in ski touring mode, the binding includes a baseplate for receiving a rider's boot and a spring clamp affixed to a ski member of a splitboard binding interface. The baseplate is pivotably affixed to the ski at the toe. The spring clamp is mounted on a heel rest and may be repositioned between a heel locking and a free heel position. When locked, the spring clamp engages the heel end of the baseplate and prevents heel release. The engagement of the spring clamp is configured so that release of the heel occurs under stress: reducing injury.

    摘要: A boot binding system for a snowboard includes a rigid heel support adapted for attachment to a heel of a boot. The heel support has a protruding member. A rigid ankle support is provided which is adapted for attachment along a rear spine of a boot. The ankle support is pivotally secured to the heel support, such that the ankle support pivots laterally, and flexes forwardly, while providing rigid support rearwardly. A heel binding is provided having an overlay member which overlays the protruding member thereby preventing the heel of the boot from being raised. A toe binding is provided which is adapted to secure a toe of a boot to a snowboard thereby preventing the protruding member from being moved relative to the overlay member.

    摘要: A releasable binding assembly for a gliding board such as a monoski or snowboard which includes a pair of binding elements, each of which includes a mechanism for elastically retaining a shoe or boot and for releasing the shoe or boot upon the exertion of a biasing force exceeding a predetermined threshold. Each binding element includes a member which is movable against an elastic biasing force from an armed position in which a respective shoe or boot is retained on the board and a disarmed position in which the shoe or boot is permitted to be released. A linkage apparatus is provided so that upon release of one shoe or boot, the magnitude of the force which retains the other shoe or boot is reduced or eliminated to facilitate the release of the other shoe or boot.

Each binding includes a board plate (17) secured to the board (11) and a boot plate (21) whic=h is fixedly connectable to the boot (31). Both plates (17, 21) are drawn into firm contact with one another by resilient tensioning devices (24, 25, 26, 27) which are substantially centrally arranged in the front and the rear regions. The resilience of the resilient tensioning devices is so dimensioned that with excessive loadings of the legs of the user the boot plate (21) can turn relative to the board plate (17) to the side, to the front and to the rear and also about a vertical axis (33).

    摘要: A releasable binding system for the sport of snowboarding includes releasable toe and heel binding clip means secured to forward and rear ends, respectively, of the ski board and simulated toe and heel members for releasable engagement with the releasable toe and heel binding clips along an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the ski board. The simulated toe and heel members are secured, releasably or permanently to the booted feet of a rider. In one preferred embodiment, the release of one ski boot binding is sensed and causes the substantially simultaneous release of the other ski boot binding. In a further embodiment, an attachment is provided for converting a boot to snowboarding has a sole plate adaptor releasably secured to the sole of the boot with a releasable binding plate member having simulated toe and heel members which is adjustably coupled to the releasable binding plate member so that the simulated toe and heel members project laterally relative to the sole of the boot. Flexible and resilient elements, such as elastomeric washers, permit or allow lateral movement of the user's leg to shift his weight and the direction of the force vector of the user's weight upon the ski board to provide a high degree of control.
