    摘要: A concave for an agricultural combine includes a frame having curved members, and angle members each having opposite ends, a corner segment, a straight threshing segment including a threshing edge, and a straight separating segment having a separating grate. Each of the opposite ends of each of the angle members is non-destructively held in a respective one of a plurality of corresponding angle slots of the curved members. The angle members extend between the curved members, are spaced from one another and extend axially between the curved members forming openings therebetween for grain to pass through, the threshing edge of each one of the angle members is adjacent to top edges of the respective curved members, and the separating grate of each one of the angle members extends across an adjacent one of the openings for separating grain from threshed crop material.

    摘要: Disclosed is a rotor and cage assembly that includes a skeleton of curved spaced-apart side members affixed to laterally extending upper and lower spaced-apart members therebetween and surrounding the rotor. One of the curved spaced-apart side members is terminated with curved fingers. Three concave inserts insert laterally into the skeleton spanning 270° around the rotor. One of the concave inserts carries straight fingers that interlace between the skeleton side member curved fingers. A control assembly of plates having arcuate slots placed at 3 of the pivots of the skeleton assembly, control bars connected to the skeleton pivots, and an actuator connect to the control bars at one end effect arcuate rotation of the control bars resulting in the synchronized rotation of the arcuate slotted plates so that the interlaced straight fingers move closer together or farther apart with the fixed skeleton assembly curved fingers for different types of grain.

    摘要: A transition cone for a threshing system of an agricultural harvesting machine has an inner surface with a tapering inner circumference between a wider upstream end and a narrower downstream end, and a plurality of vanes in the transition cone. Each vane extends between the upstream end and the downstream end and at least partly around the tapering inner circumference. Each vane includes an upstanding segment extending away from the inner surface, and a base segment extending from the upstanding segment along the inner surface on the downstream side of the upstanding segment. The base segment has a thicker proximal region adjacent the upstanding segment and a thinner distal edge opposite thereto, with a curved exposed surface extending there between.

    摘要: An agricultural harvester has a chassis carrying a header removably attached to a feeder housing for gathering a type of crop and feeding it into the agricultural harvester. The feeder housing is connected to a threshing and separating system for separating grain from MOG, which leads to a grain cleaning system for cleaning the separated grain. The grain cleaning system has at least one sieve operable to oscillate fore and aft, and at least one cleaning fan. The grain cleaning system also has a side shaker mechanism operable to produce a side to side shaking motion. A control system is connected to the side shaker mechanism and is operable to automatically adjust the amount of side to side shaking motion on the basis of the type of crop and on the basis of the amount of side slope upon which the agricultural harvester is situated.
