摘要： A container assembly having at least two uniquely-shaped, foldable blanks that can be stored, packaged and transported in substantially flat condition. Each of the flat foldable blanks are easily folded to form a pocket capable of containing papers or other small office supplies. The two pockets are hingedly attached to one another to form a container resembling a briefcase. Preferably, the hinges are formed of a substantially flat resilient material having locking tabs which may be folded and inserted into slots of each of the two pockets and retained by each pocket. The two pockets then being hingedly attached to one another. One pocket may be formed with a cover flap having a clasp to cover both of the pockets and facilitate securement of the two pockets in a closed position.

摘要： An artist's compartmented pastel case (50) and color arrangement for organizing, transporting, storing, and accessing artists' pastels, for use with computer graphics applications, and databases, as well as for use with traditional methods of painting with pastels. The case has a lid (60) which contains a removable resilient liner or pad (70) which protectively cushions and immobilizes pastels when the case is closed for transport. The color compartment arrangement (100) translates the painter's color triangle into a rectangular format by placing the three primary colors, red, yellow, and blue, in analogous locations (FIGS. 5 and 6). An empty, central compartment or current palette area (120) is provided as a place where all colors in current use can be grouped together. Empty subcompartments or holding areas (122), one located within each color compartment (FIG. 13), are also provided to hold selected pastels (172). The case's two-level construction keeps its color compartments free of dust and debris. A top layer of alignment elements on a mesh-like support grid (140) positions pastels within each color compartment, and allows pastel dust and fragments to fall into a collection chamber below. A color chart, disposed on the interior surface (130) of the lid, and viewed by removing the resilient pad, can be labeled and used to select pastel colors that have been calibrated with colors displayed on-screen in computer graphics, tutorial, or database applications (FIG. 28).

摘要： An improved carrying device for briefcases and similar items is disclosed. The invention may be used to carry a briefcase on the back of the user. A tapered support portion, consisting of heavily woven nylon, is attached to a horizontal securing strap and two shoulder straps. The securing strap is adjustable and is wrapped around the briefcase. The shoulder straps fit over the shoulders of the user. The shoulder straps support the underside of the briefcase, and the support portion holds the back surface thereof. The securing strap restricts lateral shifting of the briefcase while walking. The briefcase may be carried vertically or horizontally relative to the user's body.

The case comprises a pair of outer members, preferably rectangular in shape, hingedly secured along one pair of complementary edges, and a center inner panel member configured to nest between the outer members. The inner panel member is provided with an array of elastic-type straps secured at their respective ends to the inner panel member, to receive the items, and includes a corresponding array of collapsible boxes for securing the accessories. Fastening members are provided to secure the outer members together, such as a zipper, about the periphery thereof to form a closed carrying case. Finally, a handle may be included along the periphery of the case for easily transporting the Beanie Babies.

The melt temperature of the pelletized blowing agent is lower than that of the polyethylene resin, and controls the expansion of the polyethylene resin.

One type of microcomputer, the laptop style, can be carried by hand or from a shoulder strap in such cases. Unfortunately, as these microcomputers become more powerful tools for scientists, students, engineers, artists, and medical personnel, there is a ever greater need to protect these devices while enhancing their ready access and ease of use. These two conflicting requirements, easy removal from the carrying case, and superior protection from weather and impact, have not been adequately met by these several computer cases. This computer case provides a main packing space for the microcomputer defined by a "C" shaped rigid frame and corresponding shock absorbing pad, the forth side of the packing space is selectively closed by a padded access door. The handle and/or shoulder strap is riveted to the upper side of this "C" shaped frame. The access door is integrally hinged to the lower side of the frame, and is secured to the case when closed by double slide fastener and hook and loop fasteners.

摘要： A portable computer carry case assembly, to be used to safely and securely contain and transport a portable computer and various accessories therefor, the assembly having a main housing which is divided into a top compartment and a bottom compartment by a divider panel. Included within the top compartment are various support members which receive the portable computer suspended thereon in such a manner that the keyboard portion of the portable computer will be co-planar with a top edge of the main housing, and which straddle the portable computer to prevent sliding within the top compartment. Also included in the top compartment is a surge suppressor/power conditioner, which is exteriorly accessible through a power cord outlet disposed in one of the walls of the main housing, and a connector access disposed in the divider panel to facilitate access between the top and bottom compartments, the bottom compartment being structured to contain a portable computer printer and various other computer accessories which are accessible through a main opening of the bottom compartment. The main opening is sealable by a closure flap, and the top compartment is sealable by a lid hingedly secured to a top edge of one of the walls. Finally, at least one wheel and an extendable handle are included and utilized to allow the entire assembly to be conveniently pulled along atop the wheel, the entire assembly being structured to qualify as an airplane carry-on item.
