Abstract: In a wireless network discovery operation, before a WiFi station sends a network probe request in a WiFi network to request for network information it needs to connect to an access point, it first listens to communications on a current channel of the WiFi network for a preset period of time. When the WiFi station receives on the current channel a network probe request message sent by another WiFi station, it further delays sending the first network probe request by a second time period, in anticipation of some signals from the access point. If during the second time period a network discovery message from the access point, such as a probe response or a beacon message, is detected and that message contains the network information needed, the WiFi station cancels the sending of its probe request. Otherwise, the WiFi station sends its probe request after the second time period expires.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a roaming network access method and apparatus, where the method includes: acquiring, by user equipment, a list of networks with which registration can be successful; searching, by the user equipment, for an available network in a roaming area; each time the user equipment finds an available network, determining, by the user equipment, whether the found available network is recorded in the list of networks with which registration can be successful; and if yes, attempting, by the user equipment, to register with the found available network. According to the roaming network access method and apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present invention, duration of network searching performed by user equipment is reduced, time spent by the user equipment on initial network access in a roaming area is shortened, and user experience is improved.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a processing method for a touch operation and a terminal. The method in the embodiments of the present invention includes: receiving a touch operation of a user, and determining coordinates of a touch point; calculating, when the coordinates of the touch point do not locate in the touch region of touch objects, a distance between the touch point and a touch region of each of the touch objects according to the coordinates of the touch point; and selecting the touch object corresponding to the minimum value among the distances as a touch operation object.
