    Abstract: An image decoding method according to the present document may be characterized by including the steps of: determining whether to parse an MTS index for applying MTS to the current block; and applying the MTS to the current block on the basis of the MTS index to derive residual samples for the current block, wherein whether to parse the MTS index is determined on the basis of a flag value indicating whether a transform coefficient for a luma component of the current block is present, and the MTS index is not parsed when the flag value is 0.

    Abstract: Provided are a feature encoding/decoding method and device, a recording medium on which a bitstream generated by the feature encoding method is stored, and a method for transmitting the bitstream. The feature decoding method according to the present disclosure comprises the steps of obtaining vertical channel information related to vertical-direction channels and horizontal channel information related to horizontal-direction channels in a feature map; identifying channel boundaries in the feature map on the basis of the vertical channel information and the horizontal channel information; and decoding the feature map on the basis of the channel boundaries, wherein the vertical channel information includes either first information related to the boundaries of the vertical-direction channels or second information related to the number of vertical-direction channels, and the horizontal channel information can include either third information related to the boundaries of the horizontal-direction channels or fourth information related to the number of horizontal-direction channels.

    Abstract: An image decoding method performed by means of a decoding device according to the present invention comprises the steps of: deriving quantized transform coefficients with respect to a target block from a bitstream; performing inverse quantization with respect to the quantized transform coefficients with respect to the target block and deriving transform coefficients; deriving residual samples with respect to the target block on the basis of reduced inverse transform with respect to the transform coefficients; and generating a reconstructed picture on the basis of the residual samples with respect to the target block and prediction samples with respect to the target block. The reduced inverse transform is performed on the basis of a reduced inverse transform matrix. The reduced inverse transform matrix is a non-square matrix of which the number of columns is smaller than the number of rows.

    Abstract: An image decoding method according to the present document may include the steps of: deriving the position of the final significant coefficient in the current block and transform coefficients for the current block on the basis of residual information; determining whether the index of a sub-block including the final significant coefficient is 0 and whether the position of the final significant coefficient in the sub-block is greater than 0; determining whether a significant coefficient exists in a second area excluding a first area at the upper left end of the current block; and parsing an LFNST index from a bitstream when the position of the final significant coefficient is determined to be greater than 0 in the sub-block in which the index is 0, and the significant coefficient does not exist in the second area.
