    Abstract: A fiber optic module includes a housing having a first major surface and an opposite second major surface. The module includes an input configured to receive at least one module input fiber. The module includes at least one connectorized pigtail output routed from the housing. The pigtail output is configured to carry a signal from at the at least one module input fiber entering the housing via the input. The module further includes at least one connector storage feature disposed on the first major surface of the housing. The connector storage feature is configured to receive and store the connectorized pigtail output.

    Abstract: Aspects and techniques of the present disclosure relate to a fiber optic connector including a connector body defining a central longitudinal axis that extends in a front-to-rear orientation. The connector body can include a front connector housing piece and a rear connector housing piece that may be aligned along the central longitudinal axis. A front end of the rear connector housing piece can be adapted to connect with a rear plug end of the front connector housing piece. The rear end of the rear connector housing piece can include a unitary fiber bend radius limiting structure. The unitary fiber bend radius limiting structure can be generally funnel-shaped. A ferrule assembly can be captured between the front and rear connector housing pieces with the rear connector housing piece functioning as a rear spring stop.

    Abstract: A universal mounting mechanism for mounting a telecommunications chassis to a telecommunications fixture includes a mounting bracket defining a rear portion for mounting to the fixture and a front portion for slidably receiving the chassis, the front portion including a latch opening. A locking spring is configured for mounting to the chassis, the spring configured to flex laterally to snap in to the latch opening. A release handle is configured to be slidably mounted to the chassis, the release handle defining a deflection tab for moving the locking spring out of the latch opening when the handle is slid rearward to forward. A cover is configured to be mounted to the chassis, the cover defining a deflection ramp for interacting with the deflection tab of the handle to move the deflection tab laterally to contact the spring when the release handle is slid.

    Abstract: A re-enterable enclosure has a cover arrangement removably disposed within the interior between a rear wall and an access opening to separate the interior into a restricted access region and an unrestricted access region. The cover arrangement extends over the restricted access region to inhibit access to the restricted access region from the access opening. First and second entrances to the restricted access region are provided from the unrestricted access region. The second entrance is different from the first entrance. In some implementations, a termination field is provided at a first side of the restricted access region and a splice tray is provided at a second side of the restricted access region.

    Abstract: A cable mount for fixing a strength member of a fiber optic cable to a fixture includes a front end, a rear end, and a longitudinal channel therebetween, the channel defined by upper and lower transverse walls and a vertical divider wall. The channel receives a portion of the cable. A strength member pocket receives the strength member of the cable, the pocket located on an opposite side of the divider wall from the longitudinal channel, the pocket communicating with the longitudinal channel through an opening on the divider wall. A strength member clamp fixes the strength member of the cable against axial pull. Cable management structures in the form of spools define at least one notch that communicates with the longitudinal channel for guiding optical fibers extending from a jacket either upwardly or downwardly therethrough. The cable mount also allows routing of the optical fibers through the longitudinal channel all the way from the rear end to the front end.
