Abstract: A vehicle having an active chassis system with curve tilting function, comprises a control unit, which when negotiating a curve determines a vehicle tilting angle on the basis of a current vehicle transverse acceleration or a correlated driving operation parameter, by which the vehicle transverse acceleration can be reduced, wherein the control unit uses the vehicle tilting angle so determined to trigger actuators of a suspension/shock absorbing system in order to adjust the vehicle tilting angle. The curve tilting function incorporates a prediction unit which provides the curve negotiation data for an upcoming curve. The vehicle tilting angle is set in consideration of the curve negotiation data.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method (100) for training a machine learning model for application for a machine, comprising the following training steps: providing (101) training data, the training data being specific for the application of the machine learning model, initiating (102) processing of the training data, in which multiple tasks are processed by the machine learning model concurrently, determining (103) losses for the individual tasks, the particular loss being based on a difference between the output generated by the machine learning model and a default, weighting (104) the determined losses, the weighting being carried out using at least one task-specific uncertainty based on an analytical computation, updating (105) weights of the machine learning model, based on the weighted losses, for the training of the machine learning model.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for checking plausibility of at least one portion a driving trajectory for a vehicle. First, the portion of the driving trajectory is provided by way of a storage unit external to the vehicle based on swarm data. For a roadway of the vehicle, at least one segment of a roadway boundary is sensed by way of a sensing unit of the vehicle during the operation of the vehicle. The at least one portion the driving trajectory is compared with the at least one segment of the roadway boundary based on a first plausibility condition. The at least one first marking portion is compared with the at least one segment of the roadway boundary based on a second plausibility condition. The plausibility of the at least one portion is checked in accordance with the comparisons.

Abstract: Systems and methods of evaluating parking spaces are provided, and in particular evaluating parking spaces in parking lots or parking garages, with regard to autonomous driving. This is accomplished by determining an accessible area of the parking space, and defining grid points in the accessible area. Features of the parking space are determined for each of the grid points, where each of the features is registrable from a respective one of the grid points. A quality value is obtained from an average number of features that is registrable from each of the grid points.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for checking plausibility of a trajectory generated based on swarm data for a first motor vehicle, which is operated in an at least partially assisted manner. The method includes: receiving the swarm data, detecting a second motor vehicle in a surrounding area of the first motor vehicle by a detection device, determining a driving trajectory of the second motor vehicle, comparing the trajectory generated based on the swarm data with the driving trajectory of the second motor vehicle, and checking the plausibility of the swarm data based on the comparing. The disclosure further relates to a computer-readable medium and to an assistance system.

Abstract: A method for controlling an active rear axle steering of a motor vehicle when steering out from straight travel with given actual dynamics of the wheel guidance of the motor vehicle, wherein an actual steering signal of the motor vehicle is received by a control circuit from at least one sensor, then from the actual steering signal a dynamic model of the wheel guidance calculates a time variation of a differential signal describing a deviation of the actual steering signal from an imaginary nominal steering signal which would be needed in order to perform the steering with a given nominal dynamics, and from the differential signal a predetermined conversion rule is used to generate a nominal steering signal for the rear axle steering and the rear axle steering is actuated with this.
