Abstract: A feedback control circuit is described herein, comprising: an operational amplifier (op-amp) integrated circuit, wherein a first output of the op-amp provides a feedback error control signal; at least two transistors provided in a feedback path between the first output of the op-amp and an inverting input to the op-amp; and a plurality of discrete electrical components in the feedback path, such that in the response to either an increase or decrease of an inverting input voltage at the inverting input that exceeds a predetermined level, will speed up substantially. The feedback control circuit provides the feedback error control signal.

Abstract: A system is provided herein comprising: a host audio testing device (HATD) adapted to generate one or more uniquely addressed audio test signals and transmit each generated audio test signal, and which is further adapted to receive audio test data from a bi-directional audio transceiver device (soundbar) device under test (DUT) that can be used in two or more remotely located conference rooms to perform teleconferencing between the remotely located conference rooms; and one or more remote audio generating devices (RATD), each of which is adapted to receive a generated uniquely addressed one or more audio test signals and broadcast the same to the soundbar, wherein each of the RATDs can be located at the same or different distances from the soundbar, the same or different heights with respect to the soundbar, and at the same or different angular placements with respect to the soundbar, and wherein, the HATD is further adapted to store and process the received audio test data from the DUT and generate audio test data reports.

Abstract: An audio amplifier system is described herein, comprising: an amplifier adapted to amplify an audio signal and comprising an output enable/disable input, the amplifier further adapted to receive an output enable signal at the output enable/disable input that enables/disables an output of the amplifier; a Zobel network connected to the output of the audio amplifier and comprising a Zobel capacitor and a Zobel resistor arranged such that they form a high pass frequency filter function and wherein the Zobel network is adapted to be substantially resistive when a frequency of an audio signal output from the audio amplifier is within a first frequency range; a mirroring resistor connected in parallel to the Zobel resistor and adapted to mirror a power that is dissipated in the Zobel resistor, and wherein a printed circuit board upon which the mirroring resistor is located is adapted to conduct heat generated by the mirroring resistor; a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) resistor located in close proximity to the mirroring resistor to receive the conducted heat from the mirroring resistor and which is adapted to change its resistance in response to the transferred heat such that its resistance goes down as a temperature of the NTC resistor increases; and a circuit adapted to generate the output enable signal, wherein the circuit generates an output enable signal that enables the output of the amplifier when the temperature of the Zobel resistor is below a first temperature, and wherein the circuit generates an output enable signal that disables the output of the amplifier when the temperature of the Zobel resistor is substantially the same or above the first temperature.

Abstract: A roller shade adapted to adjustably cover a structural opening comprising a roller tube assembly having a roller tube and a shade material attached to the roller tube, a pair of longitudinal side panel assemblies adapted to be attached at opposite sides of the structural opening and retain the roller tube assembly therebetween, at least one lateral panel comprising a side wall having an alignment channel recessed in its outer surface, and at least two corner brackets. Each side panel assembly comprises a tensioning assembly adapted to tension the shade material. Each corner bracket comprises a first portion and a second portion orthogonal to the first portion. The first portion is adapted to be attached to one of the longitudinal side panel assemblies. The second portion comprises a substantially flat wall with an alignment tab linearly extending from its terminal end. The alignment tab is sized to fit within the alignment channel of the lateral panel. The lateral panel is installed to the structural opening between the pair of longitudinal side panel assemblies by aligning and inserting the alignment tabs of the corner brackets into the alignment channel of the lateral panel and attaching the lateral panel at a head or base of the structural opening.

Abstract: A motorized shade comprising a roller tube, a shade material connected to the roller tube, and a motor drive unit operably connected to the roller tube. The motor drive unit comprises a motor adapted to create torque to rotate the roller tube to lower or raise the shade material and a force sensor positioned at a point along the motor drive unit that resists the torque created by the motor resulting in a reaction force that is detected by the force sensor. The motor drive unit further comprises a motor control module adapted to receive sensor readings from the force sensor and control the motor in response to detecting an abrupt change in the reaction force using the received sensor readings to enable shade control via pulling of the shade material as well as or alternatively obstacle detection to minimize damage to the roller shade and users.
