摘要: Systems, methods, and modes for commissioning of a building control system comprising at least one controller and a plurality of electronic devices installed in a building and comprising at least one light source adapted to illuminate light of a plurality of colors. The at least one controller is adapted to iteratively divide a selected number of the plurality of electronic devices into groups of electronic devices and command each group of electronic devices to illuminate a different color, receive an identification of an illuminated color of an electronic device to be commissioned, and select electronic devices belonging to a group commanded to illuminate a color that matches the identified illuminated color until the electronic device to be commissioned is identified.

摘要: A roller shade adapted to adjustably cover a structural opening comprising a roller tube assembly having a roller tube and a shade material attached to the roller tube, a pair of longitudinal side panel assemblies adapted to be attached at opposite sides of the structural opening and retain the roller tube assembly therebetween, at least one lateral panel comprising a side wall having an alignment channel recessed in its outer surface, and at least two corner brackets. Each side panel assembly comprises a tensioning assembly adapted to tension the shade material. Each corner bracket comprises a first portion and a second portion orthogonal to the first portion. The first portion is adapted to be attached to one of the longitudinal side panel assemblies. The second portion comprises a substantially flat wall with an alignment tab linearly extending from its terminal end. The alignment tab is sized to fit within the alignment channel of the lateral panel. The lateral panel is installed to the structural opening between the pair of longitudinal side panel assemblies by aligning and inserting the alignment tabs of the corner brackets into the alignment channel of the lateral panel and attaching the lateral panel at a head or base of the structural opening.

摘要: A motorized shade comprising a roller tube, a shade material connected to the roller tube, and a motor drive unit operably connected to the roller tube. The motor drive unit comprises a motor adapted to create torque to rotate the roller tube to lower or raise the shade material and a force sensor positioned at a point along the motor drive unit that resists the torque created by the motor resulting in a reaction force that is detected by the force sensor. The motor drive unit further comprises a motor control module adapted to receive sensor readings from the force sensor and control the motor in response to detecting an abrupt change in the reaction force using the received sensor readings to enable shade control via pulling of the shade material as well as or alternatively obstacle detection to minimize damage to the roller shade and users.

摘要: A roller shade for adjustably covering a structural opening comprising a roller tube assembly having a roller tube, a shade material attached to the roller tube, and a pair of cables adapted to be wound about opposite ends of the roller tube. The roller shade further comprises a pair of longitudinal side panel assemblies adapted to be attached at opposite sides of the structural opening and retain the roller tube assembly therebetween, wherein each side panel assembly comprises a tensioning assembly adapted to tension the shade material. Each tensioning assembly comprises a fixed pulley bracket comprising a first and second pulleys, floating pulley bracket comprising a third pulley, a tension assist bracket removably attached to and between the fixed pulley bracket and the floating pulley bracket, and a spring attached at one end to the floating pulley bracket. The tension assist bracket is adapted to keep the floating pulley bracket fixed during installation and is adapted to be removed after the side panel assemblies are attached at the structural opening and the pair of cables are looped through the first, second, and third pulleys of respective tensioning assemblies and attached to a free end of the shade material.

摘要: An involute gear bracket system includes first and second involute gears. Each includes a circular base and a plurality of gear teeth extending outward from an outer region of a surface and evenly spaced apart from each other along a plurality of locations on the outer region of the surface. The shape of each gear tooth is defined by a varying cross-sectional involute profile, wherein starting from a first involute profile that is in a plane parallel to the surface of the circular base and extending outward from a center of the circular base, each location on the first involute profile is rotated about a corresponding axis while traversing a path defined by a corresponding imaginary ray extending from the center of the circular base to that location, the corresponding axis being tangential to an imaginary circle that encompasses the inner region of the surface and perpendicular to the corresponding imaginary ray. A first bracket is coupled to a first pivot located at a first distance from the central axis of the first involute gear. A second bracket is coupled to a second pivot and rotatable about the second pivot at least within a second range of angles. The first and second pivots are arranged relative to each other and relative to the central axes of the first and second involute gears, respectively, such that the gear tooth of the first involute gear meshes with the gear tooth of the second involute gear at a corresponding angle within a second range of angles.

摘要: A system and method for automatically determining at least one lower limit of a horizontal sheers style roller shade. The roller shade comprising a roller tube, a shade material attached to the roller tube and comprising a first vertical layer interconnected to a second vertical layer via a plurality of horizontal vanes, a motor adapted to rotate the roller tube, a current sensing circuit adapted to detect current levels of the motor, and a controller adapted to control the motor and comprising at least one memory. The controller determines at least one lower limit by driving the motor in a first direction, receiving current levels from the current sensing circuit, observing current level profile of the received current levels, detecting a point of change in the current level profile, and using the point of change to set at least one of a lower tilt closed limit and a lower tilt open limit. During normal operation, the controller drives the motor between the upper limit and the lower tilt closed limit to raise or lower the shade material and between the lower tilt closed limit and the lower tilt open limit to open or close the vanes.

摘要: A motor calibration system and method for a motor having a rotor and a stator and comprising at least one phase. The system further comprises at least one position detector adapted to detect a position of the rotor with respect to the stator and generate a feedback signal and a controller adapted to perform a calibration sequence to calibrate to motor. Wherein the controller calibrates the motor by driving at least one motor phase with a motor control signal at a predetermined maximum amplitude value in a first direction with substantially no load applied on the motor, receiving a feedback signal from the at least one position detector, and determining a first calibration angle shift by measuring a difference between at least the motor control signal and the feedback signal of the at least one motor phase. The controller accounts for the first calibration angle shift when driving the motor in the first direction during normal operation. According to one embodiment, the controller may determine a second calibration angle shift for a second direction in a similar manner. According to another embodiment, the may determine the second calibration angle shift using a transformation function and a predetermined angle shift sum constant.

The latch assembly includes an alignment member and at least one moveable clip.
