The pushrod is retained within the plunger body by respective head and tail pieces or caps that are locked to the plunger body by 360 degree crimps around the head and tail pieces. A one piece clutch is supported in the head piece. The pushrod, has an integral valve head that closes the flow passages when seated against a seat in the plunger body.

    摘要: A valve assembly for delivering a fluid into a wellbore includes a stationary valve assembly that is installed on a production tube that extends down into the wellbore. A dynamic valve assembly that is attached to a capillary line is lowered into the production tube, and the dynamic valve assembly releasably latched onto the stationary valve assembly. The latching of the dynamic valve assembly to the stationary valve assembly also opens a fluid connection between the dynamic valve assembly and the stationary valve assembly, thereby allowing pressurized fluid to flow from the capillary line into the wellbore via the stationary valve assembly. When it is necessary or desirable to perform maintenance or repair operations on the dynamic valve assembly or the capillary line, the dynamic valve assembly and the attached capillary line can all be withdrawn to the top of the well.

    摘要: A disclosed unibody bypass plunger has a unitary one-piece hollow body, a valve cage, a clutch system, crimple fastening structures, and a valve. The clutch system is provided in a bottom end of the plunger and is configured to limit a position of the valve. A top end includes an external fish neck with ports or slots. The plunger further includes an integral shift rod that extends out of the top end in a closed configuration and extends out of the bottom end in an open configuration, eliminating a need for a separator rod in a lubricator cap to open and close the valve. Ports or slots may be pluggable with one or more plugs. As such, a fall speed of the plunger may be adjusted based on a number of plugs that are installed, with the greatest fall speed being obtained with all ports or slots unplugged.
