    摘要: A running tool coupled to a running string and for operational use in a well casing. The running tool having a collapsed and expanded state, a tubular positioned around the centralizer to hold the centralizer in the collapsed state, a release assembly maneuverable to release the tubular causing the centralizer to enter into an expanded state, and a cleaning device for cleaning walls of the well casing. The cleaning device includes at least one of a scraper, magnet, brush, and a high flow rate circulation valve for channeling fluid from the running string into the well casing. The centralizer functions as a stabilizer in the expanded state protecting the running tool during operation.

    摘要: An embodiment of an apparatus includes an actuatable downhole tool with a brush actuator that includes brush elements extending outwardly from a slide member that surrounds a mandrel having a proximal end connectable to a tubular string. The brush elements are sized to engage a casing into which the apparatus is disposed. A spring element is disposed intermediate the slide member and the mandrel to bias the mandrel to a proximal position. A transition mode of the brush elements is achievable by reversing the direction of movement of the apparatus within the casing from the trailing up mode towards the trailing down mode and provides a sufficient amount of resistance to overcome the spring element to move the slide member to a distal position and displace a displaceable member of the actuatable downhole tool to actuate the tool.

    摘要: There is provided a downhole tool that can be used to grind down and remove scale and debris that has built up within a wellbore. The downhole tool has a drill bit that has an outer surface for engaging a wellbore and defines a bit bore. The drill bit has a first end defining a bit face and a second end adapted to engage a drive pipe. The drill bit also has a projection coupled to the outer surface of the drill bit, the projection being adapted to remove debris from a wellbore. In some cases, the projection comprises a plurality of projections. Generally, the scale and debris are at least partially removed from the wellbore when ground down by the downhole tool comprising the projection.

    摘要: Systems and methods for performing operations in a subterranean well with a smart tool include securing the smart tool in line with a tubular string of a well clean out system. The smart tool has a packer, primary slips located downhole of the packer, secondary slips located uphole of the packer, and a circulating valve located uphole of the packer, the circulating value providing a fluid flow path between a central bore of the smart tool and the bore of the subterranean well. The tubular string is moved into the bore of the subterranean well and performing a well clean out operation. The smart tool is releasably anchored in the subterranean well, separating a zone of the bore with the packer, and a well testing operation is performed with the smart tool.
