The holding apparatus has a base portion preferably but not necessarily integrated with an upper portion. The opposing walls form a void within which a shaft of an arrow fits.

    摘要: A connector assembly is provided for engagement with a mating connector and a coaxial device. The connector assembly includes a body member attachable to the coaxial device. The body member is also attachable to the mating connector. An outer contact spring is provided with an annular base for threadably connecting to the body member. The annular base has a plurality of spring fingers extending longitudinally away from the annular base, each one of the plurality of spring fingers includes a base end and a distal end. Each adjacent pair of the spring fingers define a longitudinal slit that is narrow enough to prevent inward flexure of the spring fingers beyond a point where the flexed spring finger contacts an adjacent spring finger.

    摘要: A method and structure of an electrical connector is provided for tuning the impedance of the connector according to a given impedance of an electrical circuit in which the connector is interconnected. The connector includes a dielectric housing having a receptacle for receiving a complementary electrical component. A plurality of terminals are mounted on the housing. The terminals include body portions located in the housing and contact portions for engaging respective contacts on the electrical component. The body portions include mechanically non-functional sections of a given area which effect a given capacitance. The mechanically non-functional sections are selectively trimmable to selectively vary the area thereof and thereby vary the capacitance of the terminals and, therefore, the impedance of the connector to match the given impedance of the electrical circuit. The connector includes a plurality of signal terminals and a plurality of ground terminals. The signal terminals and ground terminals are in an alternating array lengthwise along the receptacle, with each signal terminal being aligned with a ground terminals on opposite transverse sides of the receptacle, and the ground terminals have significantly larger transverse areas than the signal terminals. The ground terminals have at least two points of contact for engaging a common ground circuit on the printed circuit board for reducing the inductance between a particular ground terminal and its respective circuit trace.

    摘要: A universal grounding clip is provided for a card-receiving connector which is mounted on a printed circuit board. The connector includes a generally U-shaped housing having guide arms adapted to guide the outside edges of a PC card into mating engagement with the connector. The PC card includes grounding contacts along the outside edges of the card. The universal grounding clip is mounted on each guide arm and includes a contact portion on an inside surface of the respective guide arm for engaging the corresponding grounding contact at the edge of the PC card during insertion of the card and discharging static electricity from the card prior to complete mating of the card and connector. A grounding pad on the grounding clip is provided along a bottom surface of the respective arm and is adapted to be electrically coupled to a ground circuit on the printed circuit board. A grounding pad is also provided along a top surface of the arm for engaging a bottom ground portion of a top stacked connector. The grounding pads of the grounding clip are cut-away to allow a fastening device to pass through the guide arm and to fit within a recess in the guide arm so as not to extend beyond the upper surface thereof.

    摘要: A mechanical release or trigger device including a body. A trigger forming a shaft is movably mounted with respect to the body. At least one caliper is mounted with respect to the body and operatively connected to the trigger. The caliper is movable between a closed position and an open position, in response to a movement of the trigger. A sleeve is rotatably mounted with respect to the trigger and movable along an axis of the shaft. At least one stop element can be mounted with respect to the shaft at a first end portion of the sleeve or a second end portion of the sleeve, to limit axial movement of the sleeve. In one embodiment wherein the sleeve is asymmetric, and operatively connected to activate another mechanism such as a safety or firing system, a bias element can be operatively connected to the sleeve to bias the sleeve towards a first rotational position.
