Abstract:
The present invention provides a differential paired cable with compensation functions, including: a first wire; a second wire; a first insulating layer; a second insulating layer; a ground wire; and a shielding layer. By controlling at least one of a length difference between the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer exposed outside of the shielding layer to be greater than 0.1 mm, a diameter difference between the first wire and the second wire to be greater than 0.005 mm, and a length difference between a welding portion of the first wire and a welding portion of the second wire to be greater than 0.05 mm, a signal transmission rate of one of the first wire and the second wire is compensated, so as to reduce an intra pair skew of the differential paired cable.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are disclosed for carbon dioxide removal and sequestration from ambient air or point source emissions by integration of four self-sufficient systems including a PEO renewable energy generation system, a desalination system, a pH-swing hydration or a direct hydration system, and a bicarbonate fixed, and alkalinity enhanced dense brine sequestration system, in which, the synergy between the PEO energy generation system and other three systems including provision of all needed renewable energy for operation of other three systems, the synergy between the desalination and other systems including provision of freshwater needed for the PEO energy generation system and the pH-swing system, as well as provision of a dense brine fluid from the desalination system to the pH-swing or the direct hydration system, and in the case of available freshwater supply where the desalination system can be avoided.
Abstract:
Provided is a method of manufacturing a cable, including the following steps of: (a) providing two lateral sides of an inner layer that enclose two sides of a first conductor along a circumferential direction and an opposite direction of the circumferential direction respectively and join to each other, such that the inner layer covers an outer surface of the first conductor; and (b) providing an outer layer that continuously wraps around an outer surface of the inner layer along the circumferential direction and a length direction of the first conductor, thereby forming the cable. Provided is also a cable manufactured by the above method.
Abstract:
A plug assembly includes a lower cover and an upper cover. The lower cover has two lower lateral walls and a lower rear wall. A top surface of a lower portion of the lower cover, the two lower lateral walls and the lower rear wall surround a lower accommodating space. The lower accommodating space has at least one lower embedding portion. The upper cover is assembled to the lower cover. The upper cover has two upper lateral walls and an upper rear wall. A bottom surface of an upper portion of the upper cover, the two upper lateral walls and the upper rear wall surround an upper accommodating space. The upper accommodating space is combined with the lower accommodating space to form an accommodating space. The upper accommodating space has at least one upper embedding portion disposed corresponding to the at least one lower embedding portion.
Abstract:
An improvement to the present ink cup technology is presented, resulting in reduced clean-up time, by measurement at least three times faster producing a significant reduction in labor cost. Exposure by employees to high-VOC solvents and emulsifiers is eliminated, and low-VOC solvents mixed with water can be used. This is a significant saving in environmental damage and disposal costs.
Abstract:
A sport skill training apparatus includes an arm loop unit, a waist loop adjustment strap, and an elastic training arrangement. The waist loop adjustment strap includes a main strap element arranged to bend for forming a waist loop to accommodate a waist portion of the user, and a coupling unit connected to the main strap element to selectively and adjustably lock up a size of the waist loop. The elastic training arrangement is extended between the waist loop adjustment strap and the arm loop unit. The elastic training arrangement has a predetermined elasticity and at least one training indicator, wherein when the user's arm moves with respect to his waist portion, the elastic training arrangement is stretched and the training indicator is arranged to indicate the extent to which the elastic training arrangement is stretched so that a user may avoid further movement of the arm portion.
Abstract:
A modified ink cup for plate printing is presented, where the ink cup is separated internally into two domains, a storage area and a print area, by a baffle system. The baffling allows only a limited amount of exposure of the ink in the ink cup to the outside air, reducing evaporation of the ink solvent and extending the life of the ink supply in the cup. This system greatly reduces the number of times an ink cup has to be re-filled to perform plate printing and limits the evaporation of possibly toxic solvents to the air.
Abstract:
Apparatuses and systems for photon detection can include a first optical sensing structure structured to absorb light at a first optical wavelength; and a second optical sensing structure engaged with the first optical sensing structure to allow optical communication between the first and the second optical sensing structures. The second optical sensing structure can be structured to absorb light at a second optical wavelength longer than the first optical wavelength and to emit light at the first optical wavelength which is absorbed by the first optical sensing structure. Apparatuses and systems can include a bandgap grading region.
