摘要： A telecommunications connection cabinet includes a termination region, a fiber optic splitter mounting location, and a predetermined connector storage region positioned within an interior of a housing. The termination region includes telecommunications adapters, each telecommunications adapter being configured for coupling together two fiber optic connectors such that an optical interconnection is made between the two fiber optic connectors. The connector storage region is spaced from the termination region. The storage region defines openings allotted to removably mount connector storage housings at the connector storage region.

摘要： An optical fiber cable management panel is provided with slideable drawers and structure within the drawers for cable management and/or connection to other devices. Tray inserts drop into the drawers to provide the appropriate management and connection devices. A movable take-up mechanism manages the cable entering and exiting the drawers at side openings. Stackable pivoting storage trays on the tray insert include a detent arrangement for holding each tray in a pivoted access position. The tray inserts further include a front key, and a back tab mounting arrangement for mounting the tray inserts to the drawers, and side radius limiters including notches for extending over raised portions of the drawer. The take-up mechanism includes a U-shaped trough section and cable retention tabs. A control mechanism is provided for controlling movement of the take-up mechanism relative to the drawer.

摘要： A storage tray arrangement for storing cable slack in fiber optic systems includes a vertically oriented frame and at least one tray mounted to the frame in a vertical plane parallel to the frame. There is a mounting construction that permits the tray to be pivotally secured to the frame. The mounting construction permits the tray to be selectively pivoted relative to the frame within the vertical plane. In preferred arrangements, the trays are mounted as tray sets having at least two trays mounted to a common pivot post. Particular preferred trays include trays having scalloped side walls. Methods for storing cable slack utilize trays and mounting arrangements as described herein.
