Abstract:
An apparatus for forming a beam in a base station is provided and includes a plurality of channel cards for processing and outputting signals to be transmitted to each channel; a signal synthesizer/distributor for synthesizing the signals from the channel cards and compensating phases of the signals; a channel controller for controlling beams of the signals from the signal synthesizer/distributor according to a demand of a mobile communication terminal and outputting the controlled beam signals; a middle frequency generating block for receiving the signals from the channel controller and synthesizing the signals in each frequency to generate middle frequency signals; a transmitter for converting the middle frequency signals received from the middle frequency generating block into signals in a transmitting band; an RFB for amplifying the signals from the transmitter into signals in an output band and controlling phases of transmitting and receiving signals; and an antenna connection block for switching the signals to corresponding antennas of the RFB so that beams can be generated.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an optical disk apparatus which has a cover to cover and uncover an objective lens provided in an optical pickup, thus preventing the objective lens from being contaminated with dust, etc. The optical disk apparatus includes an optical pickup conveying, a cover conveying body, and a cover body which actuates the. The optical disk apparatus further includes an objective lens protective unit comprising a pinion gear and. In the optical disk apparatus of the present invention, the objective lens protective unit is operated by a rotation of the drive motor to move the cover, thus covering and uncovering the objective lens. Therefore, the objective lens is efficiently protected from outside dust.
Abstract:
An optical disk player, used for reproducing data recorded on a laser or compact disk, is disclosed. In the disk player, a dust cover is rotatably hinged to the top surface of a pick-up unit. The above dust cover is brought into movable contact with and is operated in conjunction with the guide surface of a cam member. The dust cover thus selectively covers or opens the objective lens of the pick-up unit. Due to the dust cover, it is possible to almost completely prevent foreign substances, such as dust, from sticking on the lens, thereby effectively protecting the lens. The dust cover precisely opens or covers the lens in conjunction with a slidable movement of a guide rod of the dust cover relative to a sectioned guide surface of the cam member. The guide surface of the cam member is formed within a range corresponding to a distance between the inside edge of the chucking place of the disk to the junction between the chucking place and the data place of the disk. The optical disk player is thus free from any operational error and has an improved operational reliability.

Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for chucking an optical disk and for driving a tray in an optical disk player. Combined gears 40 includes a plurality of gears. In accordance with the revolutions of the combined gears, an optical disk is chucked, and a tray 12 is loaded. That is, when the combined gears 40 revolve, they are meshed with a first gear unit 50 to load the tray 12. If the combined gears 40 further revolve, then a protruding piece 48 of the combined gears 40 is engaged with a slider cam 37 to activate a chucking means. In a state with the optical disk chucked, if the tray 12 is to be loaded, the combined gears 40 mesh with a second gear unit.
