Abstract:
A system may include a communications device. The system may further include a content editor executed by said communications device and configured to present a content element including a plurality of contexts, each of said plurality of contexts associated with a version of content items to be included in a content presentation and a set of context attributes descriptive of user attributes for which said context is to be provided.
Abstract:
A method of determining solid particle surface energy includes placing solid particles in a container made of a very high surface energy material and pouring a liquid into the container. The method further includes tilting the container to drain out from the container a first subset of the solid particles floating at a top surface of the liquid and tilting the container to move the liquid away from a second subset of the solid particles that are below the top surface. The method also includes tilting the container to move the liquid back toward the second subset of the solid particles such that at least a portion of the second subset of particles floats at the top surface of the liquid and tilting the container to drain out from the container the portion of the second subset of the solid particles now floating at the top surface of the liquid.
Abstract:
A hair treatment composition comprising: i) an oligosaccharide comprising 3 to 7 sugar units in which the linkage group between the sugar units is an a 1-4 link; and ii) an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive comprising: i) an acrylic group having a side-chain with at least 4 carbons (eg n-butyl acrylate or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate) and; ii) a short side-chain acrylic such as methyl acrylate. the weight ratio of short side chain acrylic group ii) to the acrylic group i).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a Data Entry Device for computers and other devices. An embodiment of the present invention provides a Data Entry Device combining a keyboard and pointing device for computers and other devices; The Data Entry Device of the present invention introduces a completely new ergonomic construction for all keys. In the Data Entry Device of the present invention the keyboard and pointing device can both be used without shifting the hands from its initial resting position and where the shift key has to be used only for capitals and a few rarely used punctuations and symbols. The vowels are all on one side thus making them easy to access and use. All the letters are arranged so that on maximum occasions the letters are alternating between hands. The character keys are separated into alphabets, numerals, mathematical operators, punctuations and symbols. The placement of the characters on the DED is based on their frequency of occurrence in the environment, the ideal workload that should be allotted to each finger, the order of ease of use of keys, their pattern of use and similarity of type. In the present invention the concept of Home Row for fingers has been replaced by Home Keys for each finger being the keys on which the fingers tend to rest naturally and is not in one row. All this together makes the DED easy to comprehend, easy to learn, easy to use, more difficult to forget, increase the speed of typing, reduce errors and makes the user less prone to medical problems.
Abstract:
A cutting insert and a clamping element for clamping the cutting insert in a pocket of a cutting tool. The cutting insert includes a polygonal body, a top surface, a bottom surface, a plurality of side surfaces, a rake surface extending inwardly from a cutting edge, and a plurality of seating surfaces adjacent the rake surface that are separated by a groove. The clamping element includes a rail member protruding from a bottom surface and extending at least partially from a side surface. The groove of the cutting insert is capable of receiving the rail member of the clamping element for clamping the cutting insert in the pocket of the cutting tool.

A hair treatment composition comprising: i) a polyacrylate cross polymer; and ii) an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive comprising: a) an acrylic group having a side-chain with at least 4 carbons (eg n-butyl acrylate or 2-ethylhexyl acrylate) and; b) a short side-chain acrylic such as methyl acrylate.
Abstract:
Starting up and synchronizing multiple access points in a wireline communications circuit using transceivers compatible with a wireless communications protocol with an adaptive Time Division Multiple Access scheme for a multi-channel medium with colocated transceivers. Synchronization readiness is asserted and the access points wait for a synchronization start signal's assertion. Methods of operating an access point, its implementation as a chip are further disclosed. An access point assembly including the access points and a synchronization circuit are also disclosed.
