    摘要: An ergonomic keyboard apparatus comprising a keyboard frame including an ergonomic contour defined in part by a gabled portion of the keyboard frame that is pitched into a contoured peak that forms a first slope and a second slope on either side of the keyboard frame. A plurality of keys are disposed within the keyboard frame such that key tops of each of the plurality of keys follow the ergonomic contour of the keyboard frame. A wrist pad coupled to the keyboard frame has a gabled center portion and a surface contour that corresponds to the ergonomic contour of the keyboard frame defined by its gabled portion, first slope, and second slope. Each location along at least a portion of the surface contour of the wrist pad is elevated to at least a height of corresponding key tops of the plurality of keys.

    摘要: Software implemented user interface oriented for one-hand operation of small handheld computerized devices, such as smartphones, which in addition to a front touchscreen additionally have been augmented with rear mounted touchpads. With one hand operation, the user typically holds their thumb in front of the device, and holds their other various fingers in back of the device. The disclosed user interface can be viewed a semi-persistent button group, typically invoked by either simultaneous front and back touches or double taps. The semi-persistent button group can contain multiple virtual touch sensitive buttons, and can be maneuvered to be within easy reach of the user's thumb so that various buttons can then be easily thumb activated.

    摘要: A data entry device includes a housing comprising a front and rear surface and laterally separated grip portions each configured to engage with a hand of a user. The user may thereby support the housing by engaging the grip portions of the housing. The rear surface includes first and second generally concave portions disposed proximate the first and second grip portions, which curve generally towards the hand of the user when the housing is supported by the user.The device further includes input keys positioned on each of the first and second generally concave portions of the rear surface such that the user may actuate the input keys with fingers of each hand while engaging the grip portions, and such that the generally concave portions facilitate ergonomic access to the input keys.
