    Abstract: Embodiment of the disclosure provide a display panel, a display device and a control method thereof, which belong to the field of display technology. The display panel comprises: a first base substrate and a second base substrate that are provided opposite to each other; and a plurality of pixel units formed between the first base substrate and the second base substrate. The pixel unit of the plurality of pixel units comprises: a liquid crystal adjustment unit; and a first light-shielding region and a first light-transmitting region at the first side of the liquid crystal adjustment unit. The liquid crystal adjustment unit comprises an adjustment electrode and a liquid crystal layer. The adjustment electrode is configured to control the deflection of the liquid crystals in the liquid crystal layer such that the light from the second side of the liquid crystal adjustment unit is transmitted to at least one of the first light-shielding region and the first light-transmitting region.

    Abstract: A display panel, a display device, and a display method are provided. A first light-shielding layer and a grating layer are arranged on a first base to form an array substrate of the display panel, a second light-shielding layer and a lens structure layer are arranged on a second base to form an opposite substrate of the display panel, grooves recessed toward the second base are arranged on the lens structure layer, the first light-shielding layer includes first light-shielding regions and first gap regions which are alternately arranged, the first gap regions are within orthographic projections of the grooves onto the first light-shielding layer, the second light-shielding layer includes second blocking regions and second gap regions which are alternately arranged, and a projection of an apex of the curved surface of the groove onto the second blocking layer is located in the second blocking region.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a backlight module and a liquid crystal display using the same. The backlight module includes a light guide plate, a light source and a plurality of light extraction gratings. The light source is disposed at an end of the light guide plate. A plurality of light extraction gratings are disposed on a light emission surface of the light guide plate, and are arranged in an array. The plurality of light extraction gratings are divided into a plurality of regions arranged at equal intervals in a direction from the end of the light guide plate near the light source to another end of the light guide plate away from the of the light source, a gap between adjacent columns of two adjacent regions is a+b, where a is a gap between adjacent columns in the same region and b is a width of one light extraction grating.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel; a collimation film structure and a liquid crystal lens structure sequentially arranged on a light exit side of the display panel; and an eye tracking unit for determining a position of a viewer in front of the liquid crystal lens structure. Specifically, the collimation film structure is configured to collimate light emitted from the display panel to form a collimated light. The liquid crystal lens structure is configured to redirect the collimated light towards the position determined by the eye tracking unit. By determining light emission directions of each sub-pixel in the display panel through eye tracking techniques and enabling the light converged on a position accepted by human eyes, light utilization is effectively improved and power consumption is reduced.

    Abstract: The invention provides a polarized light source and a display apparatus. The polarized light source comprises: a complete polarizing plate comprising at least one first medium layer and at least one second medium layer, wherein a refractive index of the first medium layer is higher than that of the second medium layer; a reflective layer provided opposite to the complete polarizing plate; a phase retarder provided between the complete polarizing plate and the reflective layer; and a light source unit provided between the phase retarder and the complete polarizing plate, at least part of light emitted by the light source unit being incident on the complete polarizing plate at an incident angle of a Brewster's angle between adjacent first and second medium layers. The polarized light source of the present invention can serve as a light source for other light modulating device or display apparatus.
