Abstract: Embodiment of the disclosure provide a display panel, a display device and a control method thereof, which belong to the field of display technology. The display panel comprises: a first base substrate and a second base substrate that are provided opposite to each other; and a plurality of pixel units formed between the first base substrate and the second base substrate. The pixel unit of the plurality of pixel units comprises: a liquid crystal adjustment unit; and a first light-shielding region and a first light-transmitting region at the first side of the liquid crystal adjustment unit. The liquid crystal adjustment unit comprises an adjustment electrode and a liquid crystal layer. The adjustment electrode is configured to control the deflection of the liquid crystals in the liquid crystal layer such that the light from the second side of the liquid crystal adjustment unit is transmitted to at least one of the first light-shielding region and the first light-transmitting region.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel; a collimation film structure and a liquid crystal lens structure sequentially arranged on a light exit side of the display panel; and an eye tracking unit for determining a position of a viewer in front of the liquid crystal lens structure. Specifically, the collimation film structure is configured to collimate light emitted from the display panel to form a collimated light. The liquid crystal lens structure is configured to redirect the collimated light towards the position determined by the eye tracking unit. By determining light emission directions of each sub-pixel in the display panel through eye tracking techniques and enabling the light converged on a position accepted by human eyes, light utilization is effectively improved and power consumption is reduced.

Abstract: A 3D display device and a method of driving the same are disclosed in the present disclosure. An electroluminescence display panel instead of a conventional backlight module is adopted to be arranged behind the liquid crystal display panel. In the 3D display mode, light emitting areas and black areas alternately arranged in both the row direction and the column direction are formed in the electroluminescent display panel, so that an abnormal grating structure is formed. In the 3D display mode, the first sub-pixels corresponding to the same light emitting area are controlled to display different gray level information so that the left and right eyes of a person located at two viewpoints receive an image of different gray level information. Therefore, stereoscopic vision is created and a naked-eye 3D display at the sub-pixel level is achieved.

Abstract: The invention provides a polarized light source and a display apparatus. The polarized light source comprises: a complete polarizing plate comprising at least one first medium layer and at least one second medium layer, wherein a refractive index of the first medium layer is higher than that of the second medium layer; a reflective layer provided opposite to the complete polarizing plate; a phase retarder provided between the complete polarizing plate and the reflective layer; and a light source unit provided between the phase retarder and the complete polarizing plate, at least part of light emitted by the light source unit being incident on the complete polarizing plate at an incident angle of a Brewster's angle between adjacent first and second medium layers. The polarized light source of the present invention can serve as a light source for other light modulating device or display apparatus.
