    Abstract: Provided are a liquid crystal lens and an electronic device. The lens includes a first and a second substrate structure; and an intermediate layer. The second substrate structure includes a second substrate; at least one electrode structure, each electrode structure including N groups of second electrodes, each group of which including M second electrodes. Orthographic projections of i-th group of second electrodes is within that of i-th intermediate portion. Each intermediate portion includes a liquid crystal layer, and j-th intermediate portion includes at least one of a first to fourth barrier walls. The liquid crystal lens is configured such that i-th intermediate portion constitutes a part of i-th stage Fresnel ring of a Fresnel zone plate, and optical paths of portions of i-th intermediate portion gradually decrease along the first direction, in a case where a predetermined voltage is between N groups of second electrodes and the first electrode.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device including a liquid crystal layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, and the second surface has a light entrance region and a light outgoing region; a reflector within the liquid crystal layer and adjacent the first surface; a light absorbing layer on the first surface of the liquid crystal layer, the light absorbing layer including a first shielding layer, a second shielding layer and a filling layer therebetween, the second shielding layer is between the first shielding layer and the liquid crystal layer and has a first opening therein, and the liquid crystal layer is configured to modulate light incident from the light entrance region into first refracted light under a first voltage and modulate the light incident from the light entrance region into second refracted light under a second voltage different from the first voltage.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal lens, a manufacturing method thereof, and a display device are provided. The liquid crystal lens includes a first substrate and a second substrate. A first electrode is disposed on the first substrate. A retardation layer is disposed on a side of the first substrate facing the second substrate. The retardation layer includes a plurality of steps having different heights. A second electrode is disposed on the second substrate. The second electrode includes a plurality of sub-electrodes, the plurality of sub-electrodes being one-to-one corresponding to the plurality of steps. The width of the sub-electrode is smaller than the width of the step corresponding to the sub-electrode. A gap is provided between two adjacent sub-electrodes. One edge of the gap is aligned with a step point of two adjacent steps. A liquid crystal is filled in a space between the retardation layer and the second substrate.

    Abstract: A display panel, a display apparatus and a control method therefor. The electrode group included in the display panel is used for controlling, when loaded with a voltage, the refractive index of the liquid crystal layer, such that when the refractive index of the liquid crystal layer is less than the refractive index of the first substrate, light emitted by the light-emitting module is propagated by means of total reflection in the first substrate, and when the refractive index of the liquid crystal layer is greater than the refractive index of the first substrate, the light emitted by the light-emitting module is propagated toward the second substrate from the first substrate.

The display device includes an anti-peeping backlight module, a display panel and a regulator, the display panel being arranged on a light exit surface of the anti-peeping backlight module, and the anti-peeping backlight module being configured to emit an anti-peeping backlight; the display device has an anti-peeping OFF state and an anti-peeping ON state; wherein, in the anti-peeping OFF state, the regulator is configured to increase a divergence angle of the anti-peeping backlight so as to obtain divergent light; in the anti-peeping ON state, the regulator is configured to maintain the divergence angle of the anti-peeping backlight so as to obtain anti-peeping light. The 3D liquid crystal display panel is configured to apply voltages to the electrode layer to form a liquid crystal grating in the liquid crystal layer, and a collimated light incident to the liquid crystal layer passes through the liquid crystal grating and pass through the filter unit to form a monochromatic light, and then, is emitted out from the grating openings.
