Abstract:
A cleaning composition useful in cleaning oil, exhaust residue and dirt-containing surface residue, particularly from aircraft lower surfaces. The composition includes, in its preferred form, D-limonene, a non-ionic surfactant, a fatty alkanolomide, and water.
Abstract:
Compounds represented by Formula (I): or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, are effective as NMDA NR2B antagonists useful for relieving pain.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods and apparatus for improvements to image capture and analysis for vision detectors. The improvements provide for asynchronous capture and analysis and allow high frame rates to be maintained when image analysis may under certain conditions comprise a significantly longer time interval than image capture. The improvements prevent memory buffer overflow and provide for short and predictable decision delays even though an arbitrary and potentially unlimited number of images are captured and analyzed for each object.
Abstract:
Novel 3-substituted 8-aza-bicyclo[3.2.1]octanes (commonly known as “tropanes”) substituted in the 8-position are effective as NMDA NR2B antagonists useful for relieving pain.
Abstract:
A method of cleaning and waxing of an aircraft's (or other vehicle's) exterior surfaces through a single application of a composition and use of simple wiping cloths. The composition is applied by spray bottle, agitated with a first cloth (or portion thereof), and wiped from the surface with a second cloth (or portion thereof). This process will both clean and provide a waxed finish to any smooth, polished vehicular surface.
Abstract:
A rule acquisition method for expert systems receives input from the expert, one word at a time, and checks each word by determining alternative parses for the partial sentence as so far entered. Feedback is provided to the expert when a word does not conform to a required grammar, this feedback comprising a menu of legal next choices. When the sentence is completed it is translated into the form of a diagnositc rule. An expert system for troubleshooting electronic equipment is disclosed employing rules generated in the aforementioned manner.
Abstract:
Improvements in an expandable goal net are disclosed. The expandable goal net is foldable and can be taken from a full size goal to a smaller size that can be easily compacted for transportation. The vertical legs telescope inside each other to essentially reduce the height of the vertical members to essentially half. The horizontal cross posts fold in half thereby to compact the expandable goal net into a vertical folded rectangle. The folding joints are on the horizontal members. Joints lock into a horizontal orientation and can be released to allow the joints to fold essentially 180 degrees. Corners use similar hinged joints that allow the horizontal members to bend to essentially 90 degrees. Vertical members have locking slides that telescope to reduce the total length of the vertical members. The expandable goal net is made from aluminum tubes and formed or molded plastic components.
Abstract:
An extendable cleaning tool with multiple, cleaning, agitating and wiping implements, each being simultaneously in ready-for-use configuration and proximity during a waterless cleaning operation, requiring axial rotation of the tool's pole for positioning for use and without requiring multiple repositioning of the tool's distal end between the user's location and the proximity of a to-be-cleaned surface area during waterless cleaning of that surface area.
