Abstract: Devices, systems and methods for coefficient coding in transform skip mode are described. An exemplary method for video processing includes determining, for encoding one or more video blocks in a video region of a visual media data into a bitstream representation of the visual media data, a maximum allowed dimension up to which a current video block of the one or more video blocks is allowed to be encoded using a transform skip mode such that a residual of a prediction error between the current video block and a reference video block is represented in the bitstream representation without applying a transform; and including a syntax element indicative of the maximum allowed dimension in the bitstream representation.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for video processing. A method for video processing is proposed. The method comprises: determining, for a conversion between a current block of a video and a bitstream of the video, that a first prediction mode is applied to the current block, deriving, in the first prediction mode, prediction samples of the current block based on reference values in a virtual buffer that are determined by a block vector for the current block; performing the conversion based on the prediction samples; determining a set of blocks from a plurality of blocks of the same video region based on coded information of the plurality of blocks, the plurality of blocks being coded before the current block; and updating the virtual buffer based on the set of blocks.

Abstract: In one example aspect, a method of video processing includes performing a conversion between a current block in a video unit of a video and a coded representation of the video using a palette mode in which a palette of representative sample values is used for coding the current block. During the conversion, a predictor palette is used for predicting the palette of representative sample values. The predictor palette is re-initialized upon a condition being satisfied. The condition is satisfied in case the video unit is a first video unit in a video unit row and a syntax element is included in the coded representation indicating that a wavefront parallel processing is enabled for the video unit.
