摘要： Local dependency metadata can be collected from local metadata repositories of a plurality of development systems in a layered development system landscape, and a global where-used list that includes intra-layer and inter-layer dependencies between development entities in a layered development system landscape can be created, for example by aggregating the collected local dependency data. A usage metric quantifying how frequently each development entity is depended upon by other development entities in the layered development system landscape can be assigned to each development entity in the layered development system landscape. A measure of a relative effect of a change to one of the development entities on other development entities in the layered development system landscape can be promoted.

摘要： A system and method for message lifetime management. According to an embodiment of the invention, a front-end application process identifies during a user interface interaction cycle of the front-end application process at least one stateful message reported to the front-end application process by a back-end service process during a prior user interface interaction cycle of the front-end application process, the at least one stateful message having been stored in a message buffer by the front-end application process, queries the back-end service process to determine whether the at least one stateful message is currently valid, and removes the at least one stateful message from the message buffer if it is determined not to be currently valid.

An instance of a second provider is created and registered to store a second change to the buffer. The buffer is checked to determine whether data consistency is guaranteed to result from the first and second changes. If data consistency is guaranteed, the first and second changes are committed to a database.
