摘要: Local dependency metadata can be collected from local metadata repositories of a plurality of development systems in a layered development system landscape, and a global where-used list that includes intra-layer and inter-layer dependencies between development entities in a layered development system landscape can be created, for example by aggregating the collected local dependency data. A usage metric quantifying how frequently each development entity is depended upon by other development entities in the layered development system landscape can be assigned to each development entity in the layered development system landscape. A measure of a relative effect of a change to one of the development entities on other development entities in the layered development system landscape can be promoted.

摘要: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for priority-controlled displays. In one aspect, the information elements are received at a user interface. Priorities are determined for the information elements. The information elements and determined priorities are then provided to the user interface. The priorities include a first priority representing one of the information elements with a higher priority, the information element having the first priority formatted to display the information element with higher priority when compared to another information element having a lower determined priority than the first priority.

摘要: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for a mockup business object. The mockup business object implemented within a computer framework including other business objects. In one exemplary embodiment, the method may include generating, within the computer framework, the mockup business object based on a metadata stored within the computer framework, when the mockup business object does not exist within the computer framework. The method may also include determining whether a structure of the mockup business object has changed based on the metadata, when the mockup business object does exist within the computer framework. Moreover, the method may include modifying the mockup business object based on the result of the determining step.

摘要: A system and method for message lifetime management. According to an embodiment of the invention, a front-end application process identifies during a user interface interaction cycle of the front-end application process at least one stateful message reported to the front-end application process by a back-end service process during a prior user interface interaction cycle of the front-end application process, the at least one stateful message having been stored in a message buffer by the front-end application process, queries the back-end service process to determine whether the at least one stateful message is currently valid, and removes the at least one stateful message from the message buffer if it is determined not to be currently valid.

摘要: Embodiments consistent with the principles of the invention check, before the data underlying a changed primary object is persistently save, for related objects whose data is also affected by the change. The related objects may be two or more degrees removed from the primary object. The changed primary object and all its changed related objects are then persistently saved together, so that the saved data is consistent across the related objects. Embodiments consistent with the principles of the invention also provide a state model for controlling access to services by clients and for making services available by servers.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for handling instances of providers in a plurality of frameworks. An instance of a first provider is created and registered to store a first change to a buffer. An instance of a second provider is created and registered to store a second change to the buffer. The buffer is checked to determine whether data consistency is guaranteed to result from the first and second changes. If data consistency is guaranteed, the first and second changes are committed to a database.
