    Abstract: A cooking engagement system for a cooktop appliance is provided herein. The cooking engagement system may include a camera assembly, an image monitor, a lighting assembly, and a controller. The camera assembly may be mounted above the cooktop appliance along a vertical direction and directed at a cooktop surface. The image monitor may be mounted above the cooktop appliance and directed away from the cooktop surface. The lighting assembly may be mounted to the casing above the cooktop appliance. The lighting assembly may include a light source directed at the cooktop source to emit a light thereto. The controller may be in operable communication with the camera assembly and the image monitor to initiate an interactive cooking operation.

    Abstract: An indoor smoker includes a smoking chamber fluidly coupled with an exhaust duct comprising a catalytic converter. A smoke regulating assembly selectively directs a flow of smoke through the smoking chamber and/or the exhaust duct. The smoke regulating assembly includes an outer housing defining an inlet aperture and an outlet aperture and a firebox positioned within the outer housing and defining a smoldering chamber. A control cylinder is rotatably mounted within the outer housing and around the firebox, the control cylinder defining a plurality of flow regulating apertures and being rotatable to selectively align the flow regulating apertures with the inlet aperture and the outlet aperture to regulate a flow of fresh air and the flow of smoke.

    Abstract: A stand-alone ice making appliance is provided. The stand-alone ice making appliance may include an outer casing, a water tank, a pump, an ice maker, and a container. The outer casing may define an internal cavity that includes a primary opening. The water tank may define a storage volume to receive water. The pump may be in fluid communication with the storage volume of the water tank to actively flow water therefrom. The ice maker may in fluid communication with the storage volume of the water tank to receive water therefrom. The container may be disposed within the internal cavity. The container may include an insulated sidewall positioned across the primary opening and at least partially defining a storage volume to receive ice from the ice maker.

    Abstract: An indoor smoker includes a smoking chamber, a fresh air supply duct, a firebox defining a smoldering chamber, and an exhaust duct. An air handler is operably coupled to the exhaust duct and is configured for urging a flow of fresh air and/or smoke through the smoking chamber and out the exhaust duct which contains a catalytic converter. A flow regulating device, such as a rotary valve, is rotated between angular positions to control the flows of air and smoke, e.g., to facilitate a smoking process, a cold smoking process, a pause in the smoking process, or process termination.
