摘要： To perform processing at a high speed to identify some of the structure type definitions in a given definition set to which a received XML document matches. There are provided a decision rule generation section which generates a decision rule for determining to which one of a plurality of DTDs an XML document matches on the basis of unique elements of the DTDs, and a DTD determination section which determines to which one of the plurality of DTDs the XML document to be processed matches on the basis of the decision rule generated by the decision rule generation section.

摘要： The invention includes a proxy server that constitutes means for providing, verifying and logging a digital signature for a message that is to be exchanged via a network, so that a security function for a digital signature can be implemented without changing an application program. In an example embodiment, a digital signature system comprises: applications for performing data processing; and a signature server connected to the applications via a LAN, wherein the signature server intercepts the message communication from the application to a destination device outside the LAN, provides a digital signature for a message document to be exchanged through communication, and transmits the obtained message document to the destination device.

摘要： It is one object of the present invention to perform data compression to encode the structure part of a document in a tree local language, such as XML or ASN.1.A data compression apparatus for encoding data and for compressing the encoded data comprises: a grammar rule 12 for a tree local language in which data are represented by a labeled tree structure; an encoder 11 for reading a document written in the tree local language, for dividing the document into a structure part and contents, and for encoding the structure part using the grammar rule 12; and a compressor 13 for compressing the contents of the document extracted by the encoder 11, and for encoding the compressed contents.
