摘要： Within exemplary embodiments of the present invention a solution is provided for the abbreviated parse scanning of a XML document, thus providing improved processing performance over traditional full parsing processing methods. As such, during an XML document parsing operation, from the start of the document to a specific segment of the document wherein desired information resides, only the minimal processing necessary is implemented to achieve a correct parse of the specified segment, wherein thereafter a full parse operation only for desired information is carried out over the specified segment in order to retrieve any desired information from the XML document.

摘要： The present invention provides digital signature techniques using an information terminal, such as a portable terminal, having limited calculation resources. In one embodiment, a signature demandant generates a document to be signed, and an agent receives this document. The agent generates summary text for this document, and transmits the summary text to a signatory, and the signatory displays the summary text using his or her information terminal. The signatory confirms the contents, employs a private key stored in his or her terminal to sign (encrypt) the summary text. The signatory thereafter transmits a signature value to the agent, who generates a signed document that includes the signature value. Finally, the signature demandant verifies (decrypts) the received signed document using the public key of the signatory and confirms the contents.

摘要： It is one object of the present invention to perform data compression to encode the structure part of a document in a tree local language, such as XML or ASN.1.A data compression apparatus for encoding data and for compressing the encoded data comprises: a grammar rule 12 for a tree local language in which data are represented by a labeled tree structure; an encoder 11 for reading a document written in the tree local language, for dividing the document into a structure part and contents, and for encoding the structure part using the grammar rule 12; and a compressor 13 for compressing the contents of the document extracted by the encoder 11, and for encoding the compressed contents.
