Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and apparatus for coordinated beamforming. An aspect of the disclosure provides a method. The method includes sending, by a first access point (AP) of a plurality of collaborating APs, to one or more stations (STAs) associated with the plurality of collaborating APs, a request for channel state information (CSI) associated with the one or more STAs and the first AP. The method further includes receiving a response including the CSI associated with the one or more STAs and the first AP. The method further includes sending, to a second AP of the plurality of collaborating APs, a sounding request indicating the second AP to request, from the one or more STAs, CSI associated with the one or more STAs and the second AP. The method further includes sharing CSI information between the first and the second AP.

Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods for wireless communication directed are towards (i) encoding data bits to be transmitted over a multiple resource unit (MRU) in a wireless local area network (WLAN), (ii) creating a group of the encoded data bits based on a predetermined criterion, (iii) parsing the encoded bits in the group based on a proportional ratio associated with the MRU, (iv) modulating the parsed encoded data bits to generate modulated encoded data symbols, (v) mapping the modulated encoded data symbols to data subcarriers to generate encoded data subcarriers, the data subcarriers being associated with respective resource units (RUs) of the MRU, (vi) duplicating the encoded data subcarriers within the respective RUs, (vii) shuffling the duplicate encoded data subcarriers across the respective RUs of the MRU, and (viii) transmitting the encoded data subcarriers, and the duplicate encoded data subcarriers over the MRU in the WLAN.

Abstract: An LDPC code encoding method and a communication apparatus are described that provide increased redundant bits through retransmission in an IR-HARQ mechanism, so as to decrease a channel coding rate, and improve decoding performance of an LDPC code. A check matrix of the LDPC code is used as a basic matrix, and the basic matrix is extended to obtain a mother matrix compatible with a plurality of code rates. During LDPC encoding, a transmit device reads, from the mother matrix, a check matrix corresponding to a required code rate, and performs LDPC encoding on an information bit sequence based on the read check matrix. LDPC encoding is performed on the information bit sequence by using check matrices of different sizes, to obtain different quantities of redundant bits.

Abstract: The AP can generate a distinctive 8 bit value, and fill the 8 most significant bits (MSBs) of the a 16 bit AID field to form a EDMG BSS AID. Beamforming can include a station performing a sector level sweep (SLS) process including transmitting, in sequence, a plurality of short sector sweep (SSVV) frames to the other station using corresponding ones of the antenna sectors, and receiving, in sequence, a plurality of the short SSW frames from the other station, the short SSW frames having an addressing field format specifying a receiver address association ID (RA AID) and a transmitter address association ID (TA AID). The distinctive 8 bit value can be used as the AP AID.
