Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate generally to providing a radio application to a radio device for alteration of one or more radio characteristics of the radio device. A radio device may contact a reconfiguration market platform to request a radio application. The reconfiguration market platform may determine whether the radio device is authorized to operate the radio application. The reconfiguration market platform may contact a regulatory certificate platform to make this determination, or the reconfiguration market platform may cause the radio device to contact the regulatory certificate platform to facilitate this determination. If the reconfiguration market platform determines that the radio device is authorized to operate the radio application, the reconfiguration market platform provides the radio application to the radio device. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
