Abstract:
A connector seal including at least one cylindrical coaxial cable connector, and an elastic sleeve rolled upon itself. The sleeve is configured to unroll to enclose at least a portion of the connector. The portion of the connector may be a connection location between two of the connectors. The portion of the connector may have at least one of differing surface shapes and differing diameters. The elastic sleeve may be fastened to an exterior portion of the connector, may be pre-positioned on the connector, and may be configured to be removed entirely from the connector. A release liner covering one side of the elastic sleeve may be rolled up with the elastic sleeve. The release liner may be elastic and may be latex.
Abstract:
A releasably engaging high definition multimedia plug comprises a plug body and an actuator operable with the plug body to move a locking tab of the plug and facilitate releasable engagement of the plug with a standard high definition multimedia receptacle. A corresponding method of releasably securing a high definition multimedia interface plug into standard high definition multimedia interface receptacle is also provided.

Abstract:
A sure-grip RCA-type coaxial cable connector is provided, wherein the connector comprises a connector body having an external surface upon which at least two gripping rings are securely located. Friction-enhancing surface features are positioned upon at least a portion of the external surface of the connector body between at least two of the gripping rings. Sure-grip fastening of the connector to an interface port is provided by gripping the connector so as to engage the gripping rings and the friction-enhancing surface features while maneuvering the connector onto an interface port.
Abstract:
A coaxial cable connector includes an outer body, an inner body, a post interconnected with the inner body, a plurality of threads inside a first end of the outer body, and a compression sleeve disposed to fit between a second end of the outer body and an end of the inner body. The connector further includes a shoulder on an end of the post, a shoulder on an inside of the outer body, and a spring disposed between the shoulder of the post and the shoulder of the outer body. When the connector is not is not screwed completely onto an equipment port, a visible indicator on the compression sleeve is not visible to a user, but when the connector is screwed completely onto the equipment port, the connector becomes visible to the user.
Abstract:
Provided is an ethernet connector comprising a housing having an insulation displacement contact securely disposed within a hollow portion of the housing, and an insertion member, having a hole configured to receive a wire in a manner so that the wire extends through the hole in a direction perpendicular to an operable direction of insertion of the cartridge into the housing and so that the wire makes electrical connection with the insulation displacement contact when the cartridge is inserted into the cavity. Methodology for forming an ethernet connector is also provided.
