Abstract: A switching apparatus for providing a single-pair Ethernet (SPE/T1-Ethernet) connection, has a first interface (I1) and second interface (I2), wherein the first interface is a multi-pole and in particular a MIL or RMII interface, and the second interface is a dual-pole SPE/T1-specific interface. The switching apparatus furthermore has first electronics suitable for 100Base-T1 operation and/or second electronics suitable for 10Base-T1L operation and/or third electronics suitable for 10Base-T1S operation of the second interface. Abstract: An ROV, diver, or stab, wet mateable connector plug front end housing includes a housing front section; a locator mount section; and a seal section axially in series with one another. The housing front section includes a plug coarse alignment feature on an outer surface of the housing front section, adjacent to a front surface of the housing front section and radially outward of a central axis of the housing. There is a circumferential groove on the outer surface of the housing front section, axially displaced from and rearward of the coarse alignment feature, the groove being adapted to receive a latch of a wet-mateable connector receptacle front end housing. The plug coarse alignment feature includes a bullnose feature. A plug fine alignment feature is formed in the outer surface of the housing front section, aligned with and located radially outward of the central axis of the housing.

Abstract: A small form-factor pluggable transceiver is coupled to a cable connector and a network device. The small form-factor pluggable transceiver includes a first connection port, a conversion unit, a transceiver unit, and a second connection port. The conversion unit includes a bandwidth indication pin, and the transceiver unit includes a detection pin. The transceiver unit operates in a normal state based on providing a first voltage level by the detection pin, and operates in an abnormal state based on providing the second voltage level by the detection pin. The bandwidth indication pin indicates that a signal source received by the first connection port is a copper cable-type signal source, and indicates that a rate of the signal source is an invalid rate. The detection pin provides the first voltage level based on the invalid rated by being coupled to a ground point.

Abstract: Disclosed are network cable connectors with components such as switches, displays, and printed circuit with controllers. The disclosed network cable connector may be connected to a power over Ethernet (POE) power sourcing equipment (PSE). The printed circuit of the cable connector may request power for the display from the PSE. The switch of the cable connector may be operated such that at least one component of the printed circuit is disconnected from the PSE when an external powered device (PD) is connected to the cable connector. Disconnecting components of the printed circuit from the PSE may reduce the interference to the power negotiation between the PSE and external PD.

Abstract: A connector arrangement includes a plug nose body; a printed circuit board positioned within a cavity of the plug nose body; and a plug cover that mounts to the plug nose body to enclose the printed circuit board within the cavity.
