    摘要: A self-oscillating flyback converter includes a controller integrated circuit housed in a 3-pin package. A switch control terminal is coupled to the base of an inductor switch that controls the current through a primary inductor of the converter. The controller IC adjusts the on time of the switch such that output current remains constant in constant current mode and output voltage remains constant in constant voltage mode. A signal received on a switch control terminal turns the switch off and provides an indication of the output current when the switch is on. A signal received on a feedback terminal powers the controller IC and provides an indication of the output voltage when the switch is off. The controller IC is grounded through a ground terminal. The flyback converter transitions from critical conduction mode to discontinuous conduction mode at light loads to prevent its efficiency from deteriorating at high switching frequencies.

    摘要: A heat sink assembly includes a first heat sink, a second heat sink, and a wire clip connecting the first and second heat sinks together. Each of the first and second heat sinks includes a base and a plurality of connecting members extending upwardly from the base. The wire clip includes a pivot portion and a pair of pressing portions extending from opposite ends of the pivot portion towards each other. The connecting members of the first and second heat sinks cooperatively clasp the pivot portion of the wire clip. The pressing members of the wire clip resiliently abut against the connecting members of the first and second heat sinks and push the connecting members of the first and second heat sink outwardly away from each other. The bases of the first and second heat sinks clamp an add-on card therebetween.

    摘要: Various technologies for removing shoulder-bed effects from measurements of an earth formation made in a wellbore. In one implementation, a methodology for removing the shoulder-bed effects includes receiving the measurements and constructing a layered model of the earth formation. Each layer has a set of parameters corresponding to one or more types of the received measurements ascribed to each layer such that the set of parameters define a parameter space for the layered model. The methodology may further include dividing the parameter space into subspaces based on relationships among the parameters, selecting from the subspaces one or more starting points, minimizing a cost function using the one or more starting points to generate one or more candidate solutions having the shoulder-bed effects removed and selecting a final solution from the one or more candidate solutions.

The protection circuit activates the soft-start circuit of the PWM control circuit upon detection of the over-current or short circuit condition.
