Abstract: A computing system for validating repeating data is described. The computing system includes at least one computing device including at least one processor communicatively coupled to a database. The at least one processor is programmed to receive a first instance of data, the first instance of data including first repeating data elements, and store, in the database, the first repeating data elements. The at least one processor is also programmed to receive a second instance of data, the second instance of data including second repeating data elements, determine the second instance of data includes the second repeating data elements, and compare the second repeating data elements to the first repeating data elements. The at least one processor is further programmed to determine the second repeating data elements are inconsistent with the first repeating data elements and transmit a signal associated with the second repeating data elements.

Abstract: A dispute scoring computing device for generating chargeback dispute scores is provided. The dispute scoring computing device extracts historical transaction data and account profile data for a plurality of transactions associated with an account, and generates a chargeback dispute prediction model for the account based on the extracted data. The dispute scoring computing device further receives a candidate chargeback for a transaction initiated with a merchant using the account, extracts transaction data from the candidate chargeback, and determines, using the generated chargeback dispute prediction model, a chargeback dispute score indicating a likelihood that the candidate chargeback, if disputed by the merchant, would result favorably for the merchant.

Abstract: A data synchronization (DS) computing device is described herein, the DS computing device configured to retrieve an update request from a queue, the update request including a key value and a requesting party identifier. The key value identifies at least one data record. The DS computing device is also configured to identify key lookup data associated with the update request, the key lookup data including one or more updated data record elements, and determine whether a release is needed from at least one stakeholder associated with the key value. The DS computing device is configured to transmit a release request to the stakeholder, when the release is needed. The DS computing device is further configured to receive a release response from the stakeholder, the release response indicating that the release has been authorized, and transmit an update response to the requesting party, the update response including the key lookup data.

Abstract: An enhanced automatic billing updater (ABU) computing device for detecting data inconsistencies thereby reducing fraudulent transactions or identifying data integrity issues is described. The ABU computing device is configured to store account data in an ABU account information database including a plurality of account identifiers of closed accounts, receive an authorization request message including a candidate account identifier, the authorization request message requesting authorization of a transaction, and compare the candidate account identifier with the plurality of account identifiers associated with closed accounts stored in the ABU account information database. The ABU computing device is further configured to identify an account identifier associated with a closed account stored in the ABU account information database matching the candidate account identifier, generate a notification message indicating that the candidate account is closed, and transmit the notification message to at least one party associated with the authorization request message.

Abstract: Systems and methods for validating and adjusting local transaction times are provided. A host computing system includes a processor and a memory in communication with the processor. The host computing system receives a computer message comprising authorization data associated with a transaction, the authorization data including a location identifier and a local transaction time set by a remote computing device used in processing the transaction. The host computing system also appends a header including a header processor time to the computer message, determines a time zone associated with the local transaction time based on the location identifier, converts the header processor time to a local header processor time based on the time zone, and determines that the local transaction time is validated based on the local header processor time.

Abstract: Computing systems and methods for detecting anomalous activity over a computer network are described herein. A computing system receives a real-time stream of electronic messages, each of the electronic messages including a first identifier, wherein a portion of the first identifier includes a second identifier. The computing system applies a detection model to the real-time stream of electronic messages, wherein the detection model is programmed to apply at least one machine learning algorithm trained to detect that a velocity of the electronic messages for a range of first identifiers having a common value second identifier exceeds a threshold. In response to the threshold being exceeded, a time period associated with anomalous activity is identified and an anomalous activity flag is appended to messages initiated during the time period associated with anomalous activity which include a first identifier having the common value in the second identifier.
